What Will Happen to America in the Last Days? Many people are asking what role—if any—America will play during the last days. While the Bible does not specifically name the United States, it does give us insight into the global landscape during the end times. One of the clearest revelations is that a One World Government will emerge, led by the Antichrist. Both the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation describe this man of sin rising to power and forcing the world to submit to his rule by taking his identification mark—what Scripture refers to as the number 666. Given that America is currently the world’s leading superpower, something significant must happen to remove her from that position in order for the Antichrist to take control. As of Oct. 2025, the United States’ national debt has surpassed $38 trillion and continues to grow. Could this massive debt trigger a collapse of the U.S. economy, leading to a global financial meltdown that paves the way for the Antichrist’s rise? This silence could suggest that America has lost its influence and ability to act on the world stage. In any case, the fall of America’s global dominance appears to be a necessary step in the fulfillment of end-time prophecy. The rise of the Antichrist and the formation of the One World Government will not happen until the current superpowers are removed or subdued—and America’s fall may be the key event that accelerates that process.
