Nearly 16,000 homes flooded in Russia, 111,200 evacuated in Kazakhstan
Catastrophic floods have submerged large areas of south-western Russia and north-western Kazakhstan since April 3, 2024. To date, floods have affected 15 641 homes and 27 993 garden plots in Russia, prompting widespread evacuations and the declaration of state emergencies in affected areas. Nearly 111 200 people were evacuated in Kazakhstan and approximately 5 500 homes were flooded.
Flash floods in Afghanistan claim 33 lives, damage 600 houses
Heavy seasonal rainfall affecting Afghanistan since April 12, 2024, has led to devastating floods and roof collapses in 20 out of 34 provinces. As of April 15, these incidents have resulted in 33 fatalities and 27 injuries, with Kabul, Farah, Herat, Kandahar, and Zabul being the worst affected. Over 1 000 families have been impacted, and significant damage to property and infrastructure has been reported.

Arizona approves ‘human composting’ with ‘Grandpa in the Garden’ bill
Arizona has become the latest state in the nation to allow terramation, also known as human composting, as an alternative to traditional burial methods and cremation.
The process begins by lining a vessel with organic materials such as straw and woodchips. The body is then placed inside and covered by a compostable blanket along with more organic material. After that, the vessel is sealed and allowed to sit for up to two months. By then, the body has fully decomposed and turned into soil, which is given to the family of the deceased. It costs around $6,000, far cheaper than traditional burial services.

What did Jesus mean when he warned the following: 2 Thessalonians 2:11 “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:” This verse comes in the context of discussing those who refuse to believe in the truth of the Gospel and instead choose to follow falsehoods and deceit. It suggests that God allows or permits a powerful delusion to befall those who reject the truth, leading them further away from it and towards believing lies. This is seen as a form of judgment or consequence for their rejection of the truth. Is is possible when the Church of Christ is raptured away to heaven that the strong delusion may be the people missing were taken away by aligns and the ones left on Earth are good people, when in fact the opposite is true?
