Jesus Christ: The Chosen One of Israel in the Line of Abraham
The Bible reveals that God’s plan of salvation began with His covenant with Abraham. God chose Abraham and promised that through his descendants He would establish a nation and ultimately bring a blessing to the entire world.
In Genesis 12:1–3, God told Abraham: “I will make of thee a great nation… and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
This promise pointed far beyond the nation of Israel. It was a prophecy of the coming Messiah—Jesus Christ.
Jesus was born into the family line of Abraham, fulfilling God’s covenant promise. The opening verse of the New Testament declares: “The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.” (Matthew 1:1)
This genealogy establishes Jesus as the rightful heir to God’s promises. He is not merely another descendant of Abraham but the One through whom God’s covenant reaches its fulfillment.
The apostle Paul explains this in Galatians 3:16: “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one… and to thy seed, which is Christ.”
Paul makes it clear that the ultimate “Seed” promised to Abraham is Jesus Christ. Through Him, God’s promise extends to people from every nation who place their faith in Him.
The prophet Isaiah also identified the coming Messiah as God’s Chosen One: “Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth…” (Isaiah 42:1)
When Jesus was baptized, the Father publicly affirmed this prophecy, saying: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:17)
Later, on the Mount of Transfiguration, God again declared: “This is my beloved Son… hear ye him.” (Matthew 17:5)
Jesus is therefore God’s chosen Messiah—the One anointed to save Israel and the world. Although many in Israel rejected Him during His first coming, He fulfilled every requirement as the promised descendant of Abraham, the Son of David, and the Messiah foretold by the prophets.
The angel Gabriel announced to Mary that her Son would inherit the throne of David: “The Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever.” (Luke 1:32–33)
The New Testament repeatedly emphasizes that Jesus came first to Israel, fulfilling God’s covenant promises: “For I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.” (Romans 15:8)
Although Israel’s leaders rejected their Messiah, God’s promises have not failed. Jesus accomplished redemption through His death and resurrection and will one day return to establish His kingdom exactly as the prophets foretold.
Jesus Christ is the Chosen One of Israel because He alone fulfills every covenant promise given to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, and the prophets. He is the promised Seed of Abraham, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Son of David, the suffering Servant, and the coming King of kings.
As Peter boldly proclaimed before the rulers of Israel: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture consistently points to one person—Jesus Christ. He is God’s chosen Messiah, the promised descendant of Abraham, and the Savior through whom all the families of the earth are blessed.

The UN wants to impose degrowth on the world; it will make everyone poorer by design The UN’s latest attack on economic growth comes wrapped in moral language. Its global initiatives are marketed as justice through economic restraint, while its advocates promise less poverty, greater equality and a safer climate. In reality, their policies would deliver less production, less investment and fewer opportunities. That is managed decline, not prosperity.

World’s Largest Data Center Project On Verge Of Collapse After Blackstone Unexpectedly Pulls Out Up until now, when it comes to real estate, Blackstone was best known in recent years for dumping many of its trophy office properties – which in the aftermath of work from home never recovered their projected cash flow potential – at a huge discount. Now, it may be pulling a page from its old, pre-Lehman playbook by calling the top in yet another commercial real estate segment: data centers. Two days ago we reported that Blackstone was selling its stakes in a trio of data centers across Northern Virginia for $3.5 billion, cashing out of part of a bet it made less than three years ago.
‘Something Has Gone Completely Wrong’: Palantir’s Alex Karp Goes Ballistic On OpenAI, Anthropic Karp’s comments come amid a “revolt” against U.S. AI labs – driven by a combination of high costs, questionable ROI, and increasing regulatory headwinds which have driven some major U.S. companies to cheaper Chinese alternatives, creating multiple pressure points for OpenAI, Anthropic, and others. He argued that that labs were overselling risks while simultaneously pushing powerful models, and that companies were effectively paying a “wealth tax” that transferred their “alpha” (competitive advantage) to third parties.

Iran Runs Into Big Problem: No Buyers For Its Oil, As Full Tankers Pile Up Off China Iran was euphoric when as part of the Trump MOU, it got permission to flood the world with its oil after Trump effectively eliminate sanctions that had been in place for 40 years. Vice President JD Vance has similarly called out communism as a political shift that is “something we haven’t seen in the U.S.” House Speaker Mike Johnson has decried “radical candidates” who are “self-described, self-identifying Marxists.”
