State Democrat sued over voter registration
The Republican National Committee (RNC) filed a lawsuit Friday against Secretary of State Cisco Aguliar, a Democrat, claiming that the state has “impossibly high” voter registration and that the state has not followed regulations that require it to keep “clean and accurate voter registration records.” The RNC’s lawsuit states, “At least three Nevada counties have more registered voters than they have adult citizens who are over the age of 18.

This Maryland Town Just Abruptly Suspended The Entire Police Force.
Residents of the Maryland town of Ridgely, located on the Eastern Shore, are apprehensive following the local government’s largely unexplained suspension of its entire police force. In its announcement of the move, the local government said other agencies would shoulder the public safety responsibilities. They offered no explanation for the suspension to town residents, who have now begun demanding transparency from the town officials.
