US Conducts New Strikes in Iran Around Hormuz Strait After Drone Intercepts There are reports of new late night/early morning military strikes by the US against Iran. The US military carried out new strikes inside Iran after intercepting multiple Iranian drones. An American official said the targeted Iranian military site was assessed to pose a threat to both American forces and commercial shipping operating near the Strait of Hormuz.

May 27 (UPI) — The U.S. military killed two men in a “lethal kinetic strike” of a suspected drug trafficking boat in the eastern Pacific on Wednesday, U.S. Southern Command said, its second fatal strike in two days.
Wednesday’s attack was the 59th of the monthslong anti-drug smuggling campaign, which now has a death toll of at least 196 people killed, though the status of two survivors from Tuesday’s strike was unknown. UPI has contacted the U.S. Coast Guard for comment on its search-and-rescue operation.

A new batch of Pentagon videos and other records related to unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) is expected to soon be released by the Department of War, with many anticipating their arrival by week’s end.
Although the existence of the videos has been discussed publicly on several occasions by lawmakers in recent weeks, a complete listing of the collection of AARO UAP videos, along with preliminary titles and descriptions of some of the footage, was initially disclosed earlier this year in a letter from Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) to U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

Many Christians believe as I do that a future global “UFO/alien revelation” could function as the “strong delusion” described in 2 Thessalonians 2 — not because aliens are real, but because such an announcement could deceive people into rejecting God and embracing a false explanation for supernatural events.
This idea is not fringe — it’s discussed by theologians, pastors, and Christian apologists. Let me break it down carefully and biblically for you.
🧩 1. What Scripture Actually Says About the “Strong Delusion”
Paul writes that God will allow a powerful deception in the last days: “God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.” (2 Thessalonians 2:11)
Key elements: It happens after a great falling away, It is connected to the man of lawlessness, It causes people to believe a lie, It affects those who “refused to love the truth”, scripture does not specify the form of the delusion — only its purpose: to deceive the world into rejecting God and embracing a false explanation.
🛸 2. Why Some Christians Think a UFO/Alien Announcement Fits the Pattern
Below are the main reasons theologians give.
A. A global “alien revelation” would instantly reshape worldviews
A government or international announcement claiming “aliens are real” would: Undermine traditional religious belief, Offer a secular explanation for supernatural events, Create a unifying global narrative, Shift trust from God to human institutions, This aligns with the prophecy that people will “believe the lie” and follow a false savior.
B. It provides a ready-made explanation for the Rapture
Many prophecy teachers argue that if millions of Christians suddenly vanish, the world will need a non-biblical explanation.
A UFO narrative could provide one: “They were taken by advanced beings.” 2. “Humanity is being upgraded.” 3. “The non-evolved were removed.” 4. This fits the idea of a global deception that blinds people to the truth.
C. Modern culture is already primed for it
Hollywood, media, and government disclosures have normalized the idea of extraterrestrials.
A population already conditioned to expect aliens is easier to deceive.
D. The deception would appear scientific, not religious
The “strong delusion” is powerful because it will seem rational, not mystical.
A government-backed “alien revelation” would: 1. Appear scientific, 2. Be globally accepted, 3. Override religious objections, 4. This matches the prophecy that the deception will be convincing.
3. Why Some Christians Believe “Aliens” Are Actually Spiritual Beings
Many theologians argue that so-called “aliens” are not extraterrestrial biological entities but spiritual beings — the same type Scripture calls: Fallen angels, Demons, principalities and powers
This interpretation fits the following: 1. Their deceptive nature, 2. Their ability to appear in various forms, 3. Their anti-God messaging, 4. Their interest in human belief systems, Thus, a global “alien announcement” could be a spiritual deception disguised as science.
4. Why This Could Be the Strong Delusion
Putting it all together for you: A UFO/alien revelation could be the strong delusion if it:
Causes the world to reject God
Provides a false explanation for supernatural events Unites humanity under a deceptive narrative
Prepares the world to follow the Antichrist
Appears scientific and authoritative
Leads people to “believe the lie”
This is why many Christians as well as myself see it as a perfect candidate for the prophecy.
After all, Jesus told us to keep on the watch. We know for sure the strong delusion is coming and, on top of the list of a strong delusion to come is the announcement of other life forms from outer space.
If you don’t believe in Christ what you just read probably won’t mean much to you. Just keep in mind the strong delusion to come is for those who do not believe and except Jesus as their Lord. For the rest of us we are always on the watch for what that strong delusion may be.
