Based on reports from April 2026, Sarah Trone Garriott, a Democratic Iowa state senator and Lutheran minister running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District, has faced scrutiny for her role in a wedding involving a satanist couple. [1, 2, 3]
The Incident: In 2006, while serving as an intern pastor in West Virginia, Trone Garriott participated in a wedding ceremony for a couple who identified as satanists.
Her Role: Trone Garriott, who was not yet ordained at the time, was directed by a senior pastor to assist. She recounted in a 2023 Des Moines Register Storytellers Project event that she chose scripture and read 1 Corinthians 13 (“Love is patient, love is kind”) during the ceremony.
Only the Lord knows for sure but there is that possibility that some day we may be faced with governments telling us UFO’s are real which, may lead to the appearance of a figure telling us that God did not create all things that aliens’ did. This would be the strongest delusion and the biggest lie this planet would ever see! What an announcement like this would do is destroy what the bible teaches and destroy the faith in Christ for countless people who would fall for this lie. Look at what Jesus told us in 2 Thessalonians 2:8-13 warned us.
