I wanted to share with you what Jesus has done with the End Times Research Ministry. Not long ago I gave Rev. Agneta my book. She is in Kenya Africa. Rev. Agneta wanted to take my work I did for Christ to Tanzania so others could learn about what is happening concerning the end time signs in our generation. Rev. Agneta needed funds to travel and teach in Tanzania so I made a video telling the people what the need was and if any were touched by the Lord to help Agneta get to Tanzania to send the funds to Ascent Ministries and that ministry would make sure she got to Tanzania. Well many of you answered that call and Rev. Agneta went to Tanzania. She just sent me a letter from Bishop Joshua who is in Tanzania. Below you will see that letter in blue.
Dear Revarend Agneta,
I am Bishop Joshua in Tanzania, and i want to inform you that God has done much miracles in our Church, many people have received Jesus Christ in their life, and many of them has joined our Church, they have testimony about the teachings of endtime prophecy since you was here, like THE TROUBLED EARTH, EARTHQUAKES, TERRIBLE TIME AND A THIEF IN THE NIGHT, since we began to preach we have never reach and hear this teachings unless from you, we are planning other conference next month of August and we are welcoming you to teach more prophecy from DiMora’s Book. We need your prayers and teachings too, if God open the ways to get the Bible, please help us in Tanzania, send our greetings to Pastor DiMora, and tell him we are praying for him and working with him in the ministry through you.
Yours Bishop Joshua.
It is a blessing to know my work for Christ via the prophecy book and this site is leading people to Jesus Christ but I am a realist and I know I couldn’t do as much to reach people if it weren’t for people like yourself who have answered the call to help spread the word. For that I want to thank everyone who has sent a blessing to Ascent Ministries for Rev. Agneta. As you can see from Bishop Joshua’s letter they want her to return to Tanzania again so we know the Holy Spirit is blessing our work! I am praying for the Lord to answer my request again to send funds to http://ascentministries.org/ in order that we are able to resend Rev. Agneta back to Tanzania in August. There are many in Tanzania who are being led by Christ and Rev. Agneta is willing to be there to lead them to His Salvation.

Headline: ISIS blamed for exploding seven Hamas, Islamic Jihad cars in Gaza
A series of explosions on Sunday targeted cars belonging to officials in Gaza, including those from the ruling Hamas militant group. Four blasts hit vehicles in Gaza City just after 06:00 (03:00 GMT). Two people suffered minor injuries. News agencies said the five cars belonged to members of Hamas and the rival Islamic Jihad militant group. Supporters of the so-called Islamic State group have threatened Hamas’ leadership in Gaza in recent weeks. The Jerusalem Post quoted one Hamas commander, Abu Hamar, as saying IS was to blame for Sunday’s explosions. He called for Hamas to respond. A video posted online last month by IS supporters in Syria made direct threats against what they called “the tyrants of Hamas” and said they would take over Gaza. In Gaza, some Salafist groups – who adhere to a strict lifestyle based on that of the earliest followers of Islam – have started to support IS. They have been blamed by Hamas for a series of explosions in the area. Dozens of Salafists have been arrested in recent weeks.

Headline: ANALYSIS: Why did Hamas visit Saudi Arabia?
Hamas has strongly denied a Fars news agency report which claimed that leader Khaled Meshaal would send hundreds of Hamas “military wing” fighters to help in the war against the Shi’ite Houthis in Yemen. Sami Abu Zuhri, a Hamas spokesman, said that this report is untrue, since the Saudi leadership did not present the idea. He said the report was intended to harm Meshaal’s visit to Saudi Arabia and to incite against Hamas. Iran was once a stronger supporter of Hamas, but the two have been at odds over the uprising against Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad. As a result of Hamas’ refusal to support Assad in the uprising, an angry Iran reportedly stopped supplying the terror group with weapons. Nevertheless, the two sides have been getting closer over the past year. The speaker of the Iranian parliament, Ali Larijani, recently boasted that Iran provided Hamas with the technology it has used to rain down rockets on Israel from Gaza, and Hamas later thanked Iran for providing the group with the rockets. The Al-Hayat newspaper revealed several months ago that Hamas leader-in-exile Khaled Meshaal met with Iranian Revolutionary Guards commander Qasem Solemeini, in Turkey, just days after the end of Operation Protective Edge in Gaza over the summer. That relationship may be at risk, however, as Hamas and Saudi Arabia reunite to battle Islamic State (ISIS) within their borders – and as Iran and Saudi Arabia continue to battle over a proxy war in Yemen. A Saudi Arabian-led alliance began launching airstrikes on the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels on March 26 of this year. ***See also Saudi below

Headline: Israel to Ashton: Iranian forces mustn’t be allowed to dump ISIS on Israeli Golan border
Although Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu again appealed to US Congress not to approve the “dream deal” won by Iran, this deal was not his main business with US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter whom he was due to meet Monday, July 20. Carter himself told reporters that the two countries could “agree to disagree.” Israel’s overriding concern at this time, debkafile’s military sources report, is about Tehran’s possible endgame in fighting the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, i.e. driving ISIS fighters to confront Israeli forces on the Golan and also reach the Jordanian border. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards are in command of the “Popular Mobilization Forces,” a collection of pro-Iranian Shiite militias put together to combat ISIS in Iraq. Netanyahu and Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon will ask Carter if the US has any control over the Iranian command centers in Iraq and Syria, and is in a position to stop Tehran harnessing Hizballah and Syrian troops to help those militias remove the threat ISIS poses to their allies in Damascus and Baghdad by diverting them to Israel and Jordan. This peril first raised its head when, straight after the six powers signed the Vienna nuclear deal with Iran on July 14, US security officials, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif declared that the next move was to build a broad coalition for fighting ISIS. Netanyahu raised this concern with UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond, when he arrived in Jerusalem on July 16, two days after the Vienna deal was concluded. Although the Secretary’s formal mission was to elucidate the accord to Israel’s leaders, his real purpose was to hand him a letter from British Prime Minister David Cameron. In this letter, Cameron explained that his decision to extend RAF bombing missions from Iraq to Syria (depending on parliament’s approval in September) had nothing to do with Washington’s policies, but was solely motivated by the Islamist threat hanging over British national security. Britain, he said, was not acting in support of the Syrian-Iranian-Hizballah lineup against the Islamist group; nor was it part of the Obama administration’s turnabout in favor of supporting Syrian President Bashar Assad.

Headline: Senior defense source: IDF preparing for possible covert Iranian nuclear production
Headline: Why Israel Is Going To Bomb Iran
The IDF is seeking government commitment to a multi-year defense spending plan – a commitment that has been absent for the past several years – as it prepares to deal with the possibility of a covert Iranian attempt to break through to nuclear weapons production, a senior defense source said on Sunday. The source said the IDF needs to assume that its most severe “reference scenarios” regarding Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, and ISIS will come true, in order to correctly use the coming years to reshape the military, improve training, and make cost cutting reforms that include the shedding of 100,000 reservists and 5000 career soldiers. Other proposed changes include military restructuring to create specialized war fighting and border security divisions that do not overlap one another.

Headline: Israel halts medical treatment for members of Syria’s Nusra Front
A senior Israel Defense Forces officer revealed Monday that Israel has stopped treating members of an extremist Syrian rebel group wounded in that country’s ongoing civil war. The policy change concerning the Al-Qaida-linked Nusra Front was made about six weeks ago. According to the officer, a number of injured Nusra Front fighters had received medical treatment in Israel. The officer described those injured as having “infiltrated” into Israel to receive the treatment. However, the army’s background checks on the injured had not been thorough, he admitted. According to the officer, since the policy change the army has been checking the identity of everyone entering Israel for medical treatment. The change took place a month after Israeli Druze ambushed wounded Syrian rebels being transported in IDF ambulances, killing one of the men. Five members of the Druze community were later arrested on suspicion of murder. The officer responded to complaints voiced by some members of the Druze community in Israel that security forces are assisting the Al-Nusra Front, which executed over 20 Druze in a Syrian village last June.

“Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God! 2 For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head. 3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones. 4 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” (Psalm 83)

Headline: The fight for Zabadani – How long can Hezbollah’s resources withstand the war effort in Syria?
“Who said Zabadani fell to the regime and Hezbollah forces? They are not able to breach its defenses; they’re just fighting in its suburbs!” The Syrian activist, who spoke to NOW on condition of anonymity for security reasons, says that he was in touch with some of the rebels entrenched in Zabadani. “The people in Zabadani want nothing but to be free, and the rebels are still fighting for it,” he insisted. The battle of Zabadani, a former resort on the highway that links Beirut to Damascus 12 kilometers away of the Masnaa border crossing, started on 4 July. Hezbollah forces and Syrian Army troops launched an offensive against an estimated 1,500 to 2,000 rebels affiliated with Jabhat al-Nusra and units of Ahrar al-Sham as well as unaffiliated locals. Zabadani is, so far, the most difficult battle of the second Qalamoun offensive, which began in May. Hezbollah quickly took Tallet Moussa, the highest peak of the Qalamoun Mountains. The first phase was taking territory east of Tfeil promontory, including Aasal al-Ward, Jobeh, and Ras al-Maara, cutting off northern rebels from those in Zabadani to the south. Then the fight went north, to Tallet Moussa. Rebels were thus entrenched between Wadi Khayl and Ras Baalbek, where the Lebanese Army also kept them at bay. “Hezbollah wants Qalamoun under its control at any price,” Lebanese commentator Ali al-Amine told NOW. He explained that the region is of vital importance for Damascus because it would link Damascus to Homs and the coast. It is also very important for Hezbollah because it was a strategic point on its supply line even before the Syrian uprising. By losing Zabadani, the rebels would lose their link with the suburbs of Damascus and would not be able to receive supplies and reinforcements.

Headline: Nusra offers exchange of Lebanese hostages with Baghdadi’s former wife
Nusra Front, al-Qaeda’s Syrian affiliate, has offered to release three Lebanese soldiers in exchange for a former wife of the leader of the Islamic State group (IS/ISIS) and four other female prisoners held in Lebanon. Nusra Front hold sixteen Lebanese soldiers and policemen hostage. The group’s offer of exchanging three Lebanese hostages with five imprisoned women came in a statement issued by Nusra and aired by Lebanese MTV. “If five of our sisters leave prison… we will hand over three soldiers in exchange,” said Abu Malek al-Shami, emir of Nusra in Syria’s Qalamoun, near the Lebanese border. Among the five hostages named was Saja al-Dulaimi, former wife of ISIS caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who was arrested in Lebanon last December. Al-Shami pointed out that the rest of the Lebanese hostages “will be released when displaced Syrian people return safely to their homes”, adding that the Lebanese people have to take responsibility for actions of Hezbollah militia which supports Assad army against rebel forces. Speaking to ARA News, activist Mohammed Dawoud, commented: “al-Nusra Front and ISIS group are apparent partners, that’s why they called for the release of Baghdadi’s former wife.”

Headline: Saudi Prince Threatens ‘Military Action Without American Support’ Against Iran
In the first public criticism of the P5+Iran deal by a member of the Saudi Arabian royal family, Prince Bandar bin Sultan told Lebanon’s Daily Star the deal would allow Iran to acquire a nuclear bomb and would “wreak havoc in the region.” Covered in The Times of London, the prince also told Daily Star, “Saudi Arabia and the Gulf powers are prepared to take military action without American support after the Iran nuclear deal” The Prince also said that regional powers have lost faith in America: “People in my region now are relying on God’s will, and consolidating their local capabilities and analysis with everybody else except our oldest and most powerful ally” The prince was less polite in an op-ed he wrote for the London-based Arabic news Web site Elaph. He compared the Iran nuclear deal made by Obama to the North Korean nuclear deal Bill Clinton made. Bandar suggested that they were both bad deals but Clinton made a bad deal with the best of intentions thinking it was a good deal. Obama on the other hand knew he was making a lousy deal and made it anyway.

Headline: Saudi Arabia says it stopped Islamic State attacks; 400 held
Saudi Arabia said Saturday it broke up planned Islamic State attacks in the kingdom, announcing it has arrested over 400 people in its raids. In a statement Saturday carried on the official state news agency, the Interior Ministry also accused those arrested over the “past few weeks” of conducting several attacks, including an Islamic State-claimed suicide bomb in May that killed 21 people in the village of al-Qudeeh, in the oil-rich eastern Qatif region. It was the deadliest militant assault in the kingdom in more than a decade. It also blamed them for the November shooting and killing of eight worshippers in the eastern Saudi Arabian village of al-Ahsa. The statement said the arrested men were also behind another attack in late May, when a suicide bomber disguised as a woman blew himself up in the parking lot of a Shiite mosque during Friday prayers, killing four people.

Egypt’s military has confirmed 59 militants and seven soldiers have been killed in fighting in North Sinai, including three soldiers in a checkpoint rocket attack. It said a total of seven soldiers were killed on Saturday, after previously saying three died in a checkpoint rocket attack which was claimed by IS. The statement also said troops killed 59 militants. ‘The men of the armed forces backed by air support targeted several terrorist dens on Saturday,’ the statement said, listing 14 sites where operations took place. The military is battling militants loyal to the jihadist Islamic State group (IS) in North Sinai where an Islamist insurgency has grown over the past two years. On Saturday, it had said 20 militants were killed in an assault on a jihadist hide-out, and posted on Facebook a video of air strikes on a building and two trucks. The army also said four militants were captured and troops were still counting ‘terrorists killed in the air campaign’.

Syria Headline: Kurds claim ISIS used chemical weapons in Syria
ISIS had used poison gas in attacks in late June in northeastern Syria, a Syrian Kurdish militia said on Saturday. The YPG militia said poison gas had been used in attacks on June 28 and June 29 against YPG-held areas in the northeastern province of Hasaka, Reuters news agency reported citing Redur Xelil, the YPG spokesman. Xelil said the type of chemical used had not been accurately determined. None of the YPG fighters exposed to the gas had died because they were quickly taken to hospital, he said. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a UK-based group that reports on the war using an activist network on the ground, said it had also documented the use of poison gas by ISIS in northeastern Syria on June 28. On Friday, ISIS claimed a deadly car bomb blast in an Iraqi town on Friday, killing dozens – including children – celebrating the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, the militants said in a statement.

Syria Headline: Syrian barrel bombs hit ISIS in Hasakah
On Sunday, Syrian regime’s helicopters dropped several barrel bombs on areas held by Islamic State group (IS/ISIS) in southern Hasakah, northeast Syria. This coincided with clashes between pro-regime forces and IS militants in the city, local activists reported. Speaking to ARA News in Hasakah, civil rights activist Abdul Karim Saleh said that clashes took place on Sunday between the pro-regime forces and IS militant fighters, during which casualties fell from both sides. “When IS insurgents tried to infiltrate into areas east of Gewran neighborhood, the clashes intensified especially in the vicinity of the Geweran cemetery.” “Other clashes broke out between the two sides on the outskirts of the Nashwa Gharbiya neighborhoods, Youth Housing and Hosh al-Baar area,” the source added. Meanwhile, pro-Assad’s helicopters dropped five barrel bombs on the Geweran cemetery, Hosh al-Baar district and the Nashwa Gharbiya, south Hasakah, killing several militants and destroying at least three vehicles.

Iraq Headline: Car bomb kills scores in mainly Shia town
A car bomb has killed 120 people and injured at least 130 at a busy market in an Iraqi town, officials have said. The attack happened in the predominantly Shia town of Khan Bani Saad, north of the capital Baghdad. Children were among those dead in the explosion, which came as people celebrated the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. The Islamic State (IS) group, which control swathes of the country, has said it was behind the attack. A statement from the group said one of its members drove three tonnes of explosives into a crowd. Correspondents say that it was one of the deadliest single attacks in Iraq over the last 10 years and completely destroyed several buildings. Police major Ahmed al-Tamimi told Reuters the damage was “devastating”. “Some people were using vegetable boxes to collect children’s body parts,” he said. Diyala resident Sayif Ali told the AP news that Khan Beni Saad has become a disaster area as its residents continued to search for bodies. Meanwhile Iraqi parliament speaker Salim al-Jabouri said on Saturday that the attack has revealed an “ugly sectarian chord” and that the government was doing all it could to stop IS from further destabilising Diyala.

Headline: PKK Blames Turkish Government for Suruc Attack
A bomb attack has killed at least 28 people and wounded nearly 100 others in the Turkish town of Suruc, across the border from the Syrian town of Kobane. The explosion may have been caused by a female suicide attacker, officials say. The blast targeted a group of young people who planned to travel to Kobane to assist with rebuilding. Kobane has seen heavy fighting between Islamic State militants and Kurdish fighters. Turkish authorities believe IS may be responsible for Monday’s attack. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has condemned the bombing and described it as “an act of terror”. Suruc houses many refugees who have fled the fighting in Kobane. IS overran the Syrian town in September last year, but it was retaken by Kurdish forces in January. Kobane: Inside the town devastated by fight against IS The district governor of Suruc, Abdullah Ciftci, said: “The fact that it is a suicide attack increases the possibility that IS is responsible. “We think the attacker was a woman. “Preliminary findings show that she was acting on her own,” he told BBC Turkish.

Headline: UN Security Council endorses Iran deal, Tehran diplomat lashes out at US
The U.N. Security Council on Monday unanimously endorsed the Iran nuclear deal, though the show of support was interrupted shortly afterward by a war of words between the American and Iranian ambassadors. Iran’s ambassador lashed out at the U.S. mere moments after the vote, in retaliation for U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power bringing up Tehran’s human rights record. Power, during the session, had raised concerns about Iran’s support for terror proxies and reiterated a U.S. demand that Iran release all unjustly held American prisoners. Iran’s ambassador fired back, blaming the U.S. for instability in the region. Iranian U.N. Ambassador Gholamali Khoshroo said a country that “invaded two countries” in the region should not be leveling such accusations against Iran. The exchange, which came as Israel’s representative continued to assail the deal itself, hung over what was nevertheless the first formal step at the international body toward implementing the deal and rolling back U.N. sanctions.

Headline: US ‘friendly fire’ kills up to 10 Afghan soldiers
A US airstrike killed up to 10 Afghan soldiers Monday at an army checkpoint in a Taliban-infested province south of Kabul, one of the deadliest episodes of “friendly fire” from foreign forces in recent years. The early morning raid in the Baraki Barak district of Logar province comes as coalition forces increase air strikes on potential militant targets despite a drawdown of NATO forces after 13 years of war. The bombing marked the second such incident in the area since last December when a NATO air strike killed five civilians and wounded six others. “At 6:00 am (0130 GMT) today, two US helicopters attacked a checkpoint in Baraki Barak,” district governor Mohammad Rahim Amin told AFP. “The checkpoint caught fire… and 10 Afghan army soldiers were killed,” he added. Civilian and military deaths in coalition airstrikes have been one of the most emotive and high-profile issues of the war, often provoking fury from the government.

Headline: Europe threatens sanctions on Libyans over peace impasse
Four Italian construction workers have been kidnapped in Libya, the Italian foreign ministry has said. They were abducted near a compound owned by Italian oil and gas group Eni in the western Mellitah area, the ministry said. Italy closed its embassy in Libya in February, calling on Italians to leave because of the dangers to foreigners. The country is beset with warring factions four years after the civil war that ousted leader Muammar Gaddafi. The foreign minister Paolo Gentiloni told Italian media on the sidelines of a meeting of EU foreign ministers that it was difficult to speculate about who was responsible for the abduction at this stage. The workers are employed by Bonatti, a company that provides services to the oil, gas and energy sector, a spokesman confirmed. They were kidnapped while returning from Tunisia on Sunday evening, La Repubblica newspaper reports. Two rival governments are vying for legitimacy and territory in Libya and so-called Islamic State (IS) is among the armed groups operating in the country. Nine foreign oil workers were kidnapped by IS in March.

Headline: 9 Algerian troops killed in terror attack
At least nine Algerian soldiers were killed when extremists ambushed their patrol west of the capital Algiers last week in one of the deadliest attacks in months, the defense ministry said on Sunday. Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb claimed Friday’s attack in the Ain Defla region in a statement posted on a social media account that often releases its communiques. A security source on Saturday had said 11 soldiers were killed. Sunday’s statement from the ministry was the first official confirmation of the attack. “A detachment of the army was targeted by a terrorist group. We deplore the death of nine soldiers as martyrs and two injured,” the ministry statement said.

Luke 21:9 and Matthew 24:7 speak of nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom in the end times. Revelation 6:3-4 speaks of the fiery red horse given power to make men slay one another and Revelation 6:8 speaks again of this red horse in conjunction with the pale horse of Death and Hades, as the one that has the power to kill by sword. Luke 21:9: wars & commotions; the Greek word here is Akatastasia, meaning instability, a state of disorder, disturbance, confusion (revolutions) Matthew 24:7: the Greek word for nation is Ethnos & refers to various ethnic groups fighting among themselves, where the next sentence in the verse refers to kingdoms (basileiva) fighting one another (not to be confused with an actual kingdom but rather the right or authority to rule over a kingdom)
Headline: Obama admin looks to ban some Social Security recipients from owning guns
The Obama administration wants to keep people collecting Social Security benefits from owning guns if it is determined they are unable to manage their own affairs, the Los Angeles Times reported. The push, which could potentially affect millions whose monthly disability payments are handled by others, is intended to bring the Social Security Administration in line with laws that prevent gun sales to felons, drug addicts, immigrants in the United States illegally, and others, according to the paper. The language of federal gun laws restricts ownership to people who are unable to manage their own affairs due to “marked subnormal intelligence, or mental illness, incompetency, condition, or disease” – which could potentially affect a large group within Social Security, the LA Times reported. If Social Security, which has never taken part in the background check system, uses the same standard as the Department of Veterans Affairs – which is the idea floated – then millions of beneficiaries could be affected, with about 4.2 million adults receiving monthly benefits that are managed by “representative payees.” The latest move is part of the efforts by President Obama to strengthen gun control following the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in 2012.

Headline: 16 Niger villagers killed in Boko Haram attack
Boko Haram jihadists killed 16 civilians in an attack this week on a southeast Niger village, near the Nigerian border, a local official said Saturday. “On July 15, Boko Haram elements fired on locals who were praying in a village near the town of Bosso,” said Bako Mamadou, mayor of Bosso, a town in southeast Niger on the border with Nigeria, where the armed Islamist group originated. “They killed 15 people on the spot and another person succumbed later to their wounds,” Mamadou said on state television. According to the Bosso mayor, four others were injured in the attack. Meanwhile the Niger army said Saturday it had killed 32 Boko Haram fighters from July 15-17 during “sweeping up” operations following the July 15 attack by “Boko Haram elements”. The defence ministry added that three Islamist fighters were taken into custody, adding that Chadian soldiers also took part in the operation.

Shia rebels and their allies randomly shelled an area north of Aden on Sunday, killing at least 45 people and wounding over 100, officials said. The rebels are pushing back against an offensive by their Saudi-backed rivals that uprooted them from areas they control in the strategic port city last week, including the Aden international airport. The officials said hundreds of residents fled Dar Saad, north of Aden, amid shelling that intensified Sunday from the rebels. They said at least 45 people, believed to be civilians, were killed. Ambulances rushed to various areas in the town, taking the wounded to various hospitals, including some operated by the international aid group Doctors Without Borders. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity as they weren’t authorized to brief journalists.

Headline: U.S. & Ukrainian forces launch joint military drills near Polish border
Ukrainian and U.S. troops launched new joint military drills on Monday near the Polish border in an effort to stem off what they perceive as potential Russian aggression in the region. The exercises — dubbed Rapid Trident — involve 1,800 troops from 18 countries, and are due to last less than two weeks. The largely underfunded Ukrainian army continues to battle pro-Russian militias on the volatile eastern border region in a conflict that has claimed more than 6,500 lives over the past 15 months, The Malaymail reported. “These joint maneuvers… display a broad support for Ukraine in its struggle for freedom and sovereignty,” Ukrainian forces commander Oleksandr Syvak said during the flag-raising ceremony. The participating countries will include allies like Azerbaijan and Moldova. Alfred Renzi, the U.S. forces commander, said over the week that all participating countries “will prove an ability to cooperate as one unified force for stability.”

Economic collapseRevelation 6:5-6 & Daniel 2:41-43– Decline of the Euro“ When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.” (Revelation) “Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. 43 As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.” (Daniel 2:41-43)
Greek banks are reopening after being closed for three weeks because of the deadlock over the country’s debt, as the government initiates repayment of its loans to the ECB and IMF. Athens reached a cash-for-reforms deal aimed at avoiding a debt default and an exit from the eurozone. But many restrictions remain and Greeks also face price rises with an increase in Value Added Tax (VAT). Germany has said it may consider further debt concessions to Greece. Greece was making a €4.2bn (£3bn) payment due to the European Central Bank (ECB) on Monday, as well as €2.05bn in arrears to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The IMF later confirmed the money had been paid and that Greece was “therefore no longer in arrears”.

Headline: France’s Hollande Proposes Creation of Euro-Zone Government
French President Francois Hollande said that the 19 countries using the euro need their own government complete with a budget and parliament to cooperate better and overcome the Greek crisis. “Circumstances are leading us to accelerate,” Hollande said in an opinion piece published by the Journal du Dimanche on Sunday. “What threatens us is not too much Europe, but a lack of it.” While the euro zone has a common currency, fiscal and economic policies remain mostly in the hands of each member state. European Central Bank President Mario Draghi made a plea this week for deeper cooperation between the euro members after political squabbles over Greece almost led to a rupture in the single currency. Countries in favor of more integration should move ahead, forming an “avant-garde,” Hollande said. “Europe has let its institutions weaken and the 28 European Union member countries are struggling to agree to move ahead,” Hollande said on Sunday in a text which was also a homage to his mentor Jacques Delors, a former European Commission President who proposed similar ideas. Draghi called for the creation of a shared treasury within 10 years in a joint proposal with politicians including European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem last month.

Headline: Finland Prepares New Military Buildup at Russian Border
Finland’s defense ministry has begun preparing new military units to be deployed at its border with Russia, and is pushing for more defense budget allocations. Finland’s military has begun preparing rapid response units for deployment along the Russian border, DefenseNews reported. The move follows an increased push for militarization which has been ongoing since Finland’s elections in April. The elections were followed by a series of mysterious incidents in which Finland’s military claimed that it spotted “underwater objects” in its territorial waters, which could not be found on further inquiry. The legislative basis for the new units is still lacking, according to the chairman of Finland’s Parliamentary Defense Committee Ilkka Kanerva. “New legislation is needed to enable the armed forces to recruit reservists in a transparent and efficient way. Under the present system, reservist contracts do not stipulate exact service times or how quickly reservists can be mobilized and armed,” Kanerva said, as cited by the publication.

Headline: China responds to U.S. ‘provocations’ in South China Sea
China is stepping up preparations for potential disputes in the South China Sea after the commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet engaged in a surveillance flight on Saturday. The Pacific Fleet had publicly confirmed Adm. Scott Swift’s presence on a Boeing P-8A surveillance plane with photographs on its website. According to the U.S. Navy, Swift watched as a commanding officer explained the capabilities of the P-8A Poseidon aircraft during the seven-hour surveillance mission. Washington has requested China put an end to land reclamation in the disputed Spratly Islands in the South China Sea, but Beijing has neither complied with Washington, nor responded to Manila’s request to resolve the territorial disagreement before an international tribunal. On Monday China’s state-run media outlet Global Times called Swift’s act “provocative,” according to South Korean news network YTN. Beijing’s criticism of the U.S. commander was followed by footage from China’s television network CCTV showing large-scale amphibious landing drills in an unidentified location, according to South Korean news agency Yonhap. According to Chinese media the country’s navy conducted its first multi-level amphibious landing exercise involving ships, soldiers and helicopters.

Headline: Wild weather: Snow in Hawaii during record-breaking hot July
It sounds unbelievable, but it really did snow this week in Hawaii, in the midst of a heat wave that has broken multiple records for July. A light snow fell on Mauna Kea Friday morning. The summit of the dormant volcano is 13,796 feet above sea level. The Star Advertiser reports that it is a rare event, but not unheard of, according to a local meteorologist. Many areas of the state faced flooding from storms that dumped heavy rain across the region. Hawaii is also in the middle of a record-breaking heat wave. The state has set high temperature records 20 times so far in July.

Headline: Typhoon Nangka Recap: 29 Inches of Rain Reported
Typhoon Nangka made landfall in Japan late Thursday, lashing the country with heavy rainfall before petering out over the Sea of Japan early Saturday. More than 2 feet of rain were reported in parts of Kōchi, Wakayama, Nara and Mie prefectures in the central part of the country. Many rivers went out of their banks as a result. Heavy rains came well in advance of landfall as well, bringing up to 10 inches of rain to northern parts of the Greater Tokyo area. The center of Typhoon Nangka made its first Japanese landfall at 11:07 p.m. Thursday night local time near Muroto city, which is on the Pacific coast of Shikoku, one of Japan’s four main islands. Nangka was the equivalent of a Category 1 tropical cyclone on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale at landfall with maximum sustained winds estimated at 75 mph, according to both the Japan Meteorological Agency and the U.S. Joint Typhoon Warning Center. (Japan is 13 hours ahead of U.S. Eastern Daylight Time.) About seven hours later, Nangka made a second landfall after crossing the Seto Inland Sea separating Shikoku from Japan’s largest island, Honshu. The second landfall, as a tropical storm, occurred in Kurashiki city, Okayama prefecture. Nangka’s center exited Tottori Prefecture and emerged over the Sea of Japan around 3 p.m. local time Friday. Later, JMA said Nangka had weakened to a tropical depression as of 3 a.m. local time Saturday, when it was centered over the Sea of Japan just west of the Noto Peninsula of central Japan’s Ishikawa Prefecture.

Headline: Indonesia closes down five airports after volcanoes erupt
Ash streaming from two volcanoes has forced Indonesian authorities to shut five airports, leaving thousands unable to travel home for the Eid al-Fitr holiday. The closures were prompted by eruptions at Mount Raung on the main Java island and Mount Gamalama in eastern Indonesia, CNN reported. Mount Raung, which has been active for weeks, caused Denpasar airport on the Indonesian island of Bali to close last week. Fresh eruptions took place on the eve of Friday’s Eid festival, which marks the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. “Mount Raung on the main island of Java blasted ash and debris up to 2,000 meters (6,560 feet) into the air after rumbling for several weeks, and Gamalama mountain in eastern Indonesia erupted Thursday after months of quiet,” The Associated Press reported. According to the AP, Indonesia’s Transport Ministry spokesman Julius Adravida Barata said volcanic ash spewing from Raung blew close to the cities of Surabaya and Malang, forcing Juanda International and Abdurrahman Saleh airports to close.

Headline: White House reportedly offers to boost military aid to Israel after Iran deal
President Obama has offered to increase U.S. military aid to Israel in the wake of the Iran nuclear agreement, according to a published report. According to the New York Times, Obama broached the subject in a phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday. White House officials said that Obama told Netanyahu that he was prepared to hold “intensive discussions” on bolstering Israel’s defense capabilities. The paper reported that Netanyahu denied to discuss the subject with the president, leading U.S. officials to believe he wants to wait and see what Congress has to say about the deal, which was agreed to after long talks involving the U.S., Iran, and five other world powers. Lawmakers have up to 60 days to review the agreement.

Headline: ICC to Reopen Mavi Marmara Case Against IDF
The International Criminal Court (ICC) on Thursday evening called to reopen a case accusing Israel of “war crimes” in its handling of the infamous May 2010 Mavi Marmara flotilla to Gaza. In an unusual move, the judges decided to investigate the previously closed case in which ten protesters – who attacked IDF soldiers with lethal weapons – were killed and Israeli troops were wounded, reports Channel 2. The ICC called to “recheck” the decision not to investigate the IDF’s naval commando Shayetet 13 storming of the Mavi Marmara, conducted after the flotilla ignored repeated demands to stand down and have Israel deliver its supposed humanitarian goods to Gaza, in defense of Israel’s legal maritime blockade of Gaza. Last year the ICC rejected a request for an official investigation by the Comoros, an island nation in Africa under whose flag several of the ships sailed. ICC chief prosecutor Fatou Bensouda said then that “there is a basis to believe that war crimes were committed” on the Marmara, but said the file was “not of sufficient gravity” to appear before The Hague. Today, the ICC said that Bensouda made “essential mistakes in determining the seriousness of the case,” claiming that it had evidence that she was wrong in her assessment.

Hamas chief Khaled Meshal and other top officials from the Palestinian militant group met with Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and senior Saudi leaders on Friday, a Hamas source said, in the first meeting between the two sides for years. The meeting brought together top members of Hamas political wing with the Saudi king, crown prince and defense minister in a possible rapprochement between the conservative United States-allied kingdom and the traditionally Iran-allied party. “The delegation discussed Palestinian unity and the political situation in the region. This meeting will hopefully develop relations between Hamas and Saudi Arabia,” the source told Reuters.

Headline: ISIS claims car bombing near Saudi prison
A car bomb exploded at a checkpoint near Saudi Arabia’s highest security prison at sunset Thursday, killing the driver and wounding two security officials, the Interior Ministry said, in an attack claimed by ISIS. State television said the driver was a teenager on the run after killing his uncle. He triggered the blast after officers surrounded his vehicle south of the capital, Riyadh. The use of an explosive so close to a prison holding hundreds of Islamist detainees will stoke fears of a growing threat of militancy in the world’s top oil exporter. State news agency SPA named the bomber as Abdullah Fahd Abdullah al-Rashed. It said he was born in 1997 and had never travelled outside of the kingdom. SPA named the dead uncle as Rashid Ibrahim al Safyan, adding that Safyan had been a colonel, without elaborating. In a statement posted online, ISIS claimed responsibility for the killing of the slain officer and the attack, celebrating it a “double operation.”

Headline: ISIS says it destroyed Egyptian ship with rocket
The Islamic State’s affiliate in Egypt’s Sinai says it has destroyed an Egyptian navy vessel with a rocket off the strategic peninsula’s Mediterranean coast. The claim of responsibility by the Sinai Province of the Islamic State, as the group calls itself, was made in a brief statement posted on Twitter accounts known to be linked to the group. The authenticity of the statement could not be immediately verified, but it was accompanied by photos purporting to show what appears to be a rocket flying toward the vessel, a large explosion engulfing most of the boat and then black smoke rising up from the vessel. Egypt’s military spokesman, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Samir, said in a statement earlier that the vessel caught fire in an exchange of gunshots on Thursday with “terrorists” on the shore.

Syria Headline: Rebels attack Shiite towns in retaliation for Zabadani
Islamist rebels have launched an offensive against two Shiite towns in the Idlib province in reprisal for the Syrian regime and Hezbollah’s ongoing attack on Zabadani. “We have decided to start ‘The Battle of Kafriyeh and Fuaa’ against the Assad regime’s forces and Iran’s militias to give them a taste in the north of what our people are tasting in Zabadani so that they will return to their senses,” the Army of Conquest announced in a statement late Wednesday on its Twitter account. The Shiite-populated enclave of Fuaa and Kafriyeh—which are north of the provincial capital of Idlib—has not fallen to rebels who seized the vast majority of the rest of the province in early June following the collapse of the regime’s salient running south from the provincial capital. In a March 23 report, Al-Aan television said that Al-Fuaa and Kafriyeh are “strongholds for Shiite militias, both Hezbollah and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.” Following the announcement, the Syrian rebels besieging Fuaa and Kafriyeh intensified their already intermittent and routine shelling, and launched a bid to take the two towns. “Clashes continued between Islamist rebels one side and National Defense Force militias and armed Shiite committees under Hezbollah’s supervision in Fuaa and Kafriyeh, which the rebels are aiming to seize,” the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported Wednesday evening. Pro-Hezbollahnewspaper Al-Akhbarsaid Thursday morning that the rebels had fired over 150 mortar rounds and rockets into the two towns, causing widespread damage to homes and a number of deaths and injuries. The SOHR, in turn, said that a man and a girl were killed in the heavy shelling, while a number of others were injured. As the rebels pressed their assault on Kafriyeh and Fuaa, the Syrian regime maintained its aerial bombardment on the nearby Idlib town of Binnish, killing at least four people Thursday. ***See also Lebanon earlier this week

Syria Headline: Syrian rebels storm military airport near Aleppo
On Thursday, factions from the Syrian armed opposition stormed regime-held Mount Azzan in the southern countryside of Aleppo province, northern Syria, military sources reported. Speaking to ARA News, Hussein Salem, a fighter in al-Muhajirin and Ansar Army, said that several rebel brigades, including Noureddin Zanki, al-Muhajirin, Ansar and Ibn Taymiyyah battalions announced the start of an extended military operation against pro-Assad forces in the southern countryside of Aleppo. The source pointed out that the Mount Azzan is of a strategic importance because of its location near the supply lines of regime forces south Aleppo. “Opposition forces make efforts to cut off those supply lines,” Salem said. The attacks also reached Neirab military airport, which was exposed to heavy bombardment by opposition forces in an attempt to halt the movement of pro-Assad warplanes. “Rebel fighters targeted the Neirab military airport with several Grad and Katyusha rockets on Thursday evening,” media activist Ali Hammad told ARA News in Aleppo.

Iraq Headline: Iraq closes border crossing with Jordan until further notice
Iraq has closed its sole border crossing with Jordan after reports emerged that the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group levies taxes on goods crossing areas under its control. A spokesman for Iraq’s Joint Operations Command said Thursday that the Trebil crossing will remain closed until further notice. Brigadier General Saad Maan said the move is partly aimed at depriving ISIL of the income it makes through taxing the cargo trucks driving through its territory inside Iraq. Maan said the crossing will be reopened after the security situation improves in the area. Officials in Jordan also confirmed the closure with state news agency Petra, saying that government has urged drivers not to head to the Iraqi border. The move could further affect Jordan’s fragile economic situation which has suffered in the wake of ISIL’s land grabs in neighboring Iraq and Syria since last summer.

Kurdish Headline: Hasakah: ISIS under Kurdish siege
As battles continue in the northeastern Syrian city of Hasakah, Kurdish forces of the People’s Protection Units (YPG) seized Thursday major roads linking the city with neighboring towns. “This development means surrounding IS-hed districts of Hasakah by our (YPG) forces,” a Kurdish fighter told ARA News. The YPG’s Media Center released Thursday a statement, of which ARA News received a copy, saying the YPG forces seized control of the areas between Mount Kazwan (Mount Abdul Aziz) and the al-Khabur River, in addition to their control of the highway that connects the city of Hasakah with the town of Shaddadi and Raqqa province. The YPG forces have also liberated new neighborhoods southwest Hasakah after fierce clashes with IS militants. The YPG leadership added that the Kurdish units seized control of Hasakah’s southern power plant, the juvenile prison and the Martyrs’ Cemetery. This enabled the YPG forces to control the southern road between Hasakah city and Deir ez-Zor, after two weeks of clashes near al-Ghazl Junction.

Kurdish Headline: Erdogan calls on pro-Kurdish party to sever ties with PKK
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has publicly urged the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) to sever all ties with the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK). On Friday, the president argued that as the HDP is now a political party with 80 seats in the Turkish parliament, it must break with the PKK, which is considered as a terrorist organisation by Turkey, the US and the EU. “An offshoot that attained representation at the parliament must do its best [to cut off relations with PKK] as they apparently maintain an indirect link, even if not a direct one, with the terrorist organisation,” Erdogan told reporters before performing the Eid al-Fitr prayer at Istanbul’s Atasehir Mimar Sinan Mosque. The comments follow talks between Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and HDP leaders earlier this week as the AKP party, which is led by Erdogan and the prime minister, seeks to form a coalition following general elections in June. So far the AKP have not been able to garner a majority in parliament in order to form the next government. ***See also Turkey below

Headline: Turkey Starts Fighting ISIS – In Order to Fight Kurds
Turkey is stepping up its role in the fight against Islamic State (ISIS) extremists after realizing the threats to its own security from jihadists and responding to pressure from its Western partners, analysts say. Turkish security forces have over the last week arrested dozens of ISIS terrorists and sympathizers, in its most significant raids since the group began to seize swathes of neighboring Iraq and Syria in 2014. Turkey has faced bitter accusations it was not doing enough to halt the rise of ISIS and even secretly colluding with the group – allegations Ankara vehemently denies, but which were strengthened by video showing how Turkish intelligence bungled an arms shipment to Syrian jihadists. But analysts say the Turkish authorities have now clearly understood the domestic threat posed by ISIS, which rules its territory under strict Islamic law exceptional for its brutality. Ankara will also get nowhere in trying to prevent the Kurds, who have been battling ISIS in northern Syria, from establishing their own autonomous region there unless it supports the Western coalition against the jihadists. The US has likewise said it won’t support an autonomous region for the Kurds.

Headline: UN Set to Adopt Iran Nuke Deal Monday in Obama Blitzkrieg
Headline: Erdoğan speaks with Iran’s Rouhani, welcomes nuclear deal
In a diplomatic blitzkrieg, the Obama Administration has set this coming Monday at 9 a.m. EST for a vote at the UN Security Council (UNSC) in New York on the adoption of the Iran nuclear deal, which wasannounced by the world’s leading powers and the Islamic Republic of Iran in Vienna on Tuesday. A terse announcement by the New Zealand delegation which assumed the monthly rotating UNSC’s Presidency for July revealed the vote session. “The Iran JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) resolution is now under silence and its adoption has been scheduled for Monday 20 July at 9 a.m.,” read the announcement on the Iran deal vote. From the New Zealand statement’s use of the diplomatic jargon of “under silence,” it appears the UNSC may employ a rarely used “under silence” procedure in such an important vote at the UNSC. In an “under silence” adoption procedure, instead of the UNSC holding a normal positive vote, the motion that is set for adoption “under silence” is deemed automatically adopted unless a party specifically objects to the motion. This “under silence” procedure would put the onus on Israel to be the first, and possibly the only, objector to the UNSC’s adoption of the Iran deal.

Headline: U.S. Steps Up Airstrikes in Afghanistan, Even Targeting ISIS
The American military has intensified its airstrikes in Afghanistan in recent weeks, expanding them to include a bombing campaign against Islamic State militants who defeated the Taliban in fighting over a sliver of territory in the eastern part of the country. Throughout June, American drones and warplanes fired against militants in Afghanistan more than twice as much as they had in any previous month this year, according to military statistics. The increase in the use of American air power comes more than six months after President Obama declared that the American combat mission in Afghanistan had ended. The vast majority of the strikes appear to remain focused on Taliban forces, the traditional targets of American airstrikes here for more than a decade. But several have targeted insurgent commanders who defected from the Taliban to swear allegiance to the Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL. American officials have said that the strikes against the Islamic State were part of a defensive policy to protect the coalition forces from harm. But Afghan officials said the strikes against Islamic State targets came partly at the urging of the Afghan domestic intelligence service, which thought it was time to remove them or risk the Islamic State’s gaining a foothold in eastern Afghanistan.

The United Nations Security Council has commended the signing of the Libyan Political Agreement to resolve the country’s institutional and security crises. A statement from the United Nations in New York on Thursday noted that the agreement was signed on July 11 by Libyan delegates. It observed that the agreement would move the political transition process forward via the formation of a Government of National Accord in the country. In the statement, members of the Security Council, therefore, called on all parties to engage with the Libyan Political Dialogue and unite in support of this agreement. “The Security Council support the formation of a Government of National Accord to help rebuild the country and to tackle the growing threat of terrorism in Libya and its neighboring countries,’’ it stated. The members encouraged the UN Support Mission in Libya to advance relevant efforts for coordination of international assistance to the Government of National Accord.

Islamic State group (IS/ISIS) vowed in a video message to expand its activities in Algeria. IS militants released a statement from the group’s media office in Syria’s Raqqa, saying the jihadi war will expand in Algeria, accusing Algerians of apostasy. The radical group called on its militants and supporters in Algeria to fight apostasy. In the video message, IS militants Abu Bara al-Jazaeri and Abu Hafs al-Jazaeri demanded Algerian people to announce allegiance to the Islamic State, vowing opponents of a massive war. The IS extremists said that a group of people in Skikda state and the desert of Algeria pledged allegiance to the alleged caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. “We are glad that our brothers in Skikda and Algerian desert swore allegiance to the Islamic State and its caliph. All jihadist groups in this country should join our ranks,” an IS member said in the video. “If the war spread in the land of Algeria, we (IS) will definitely head to Andalusia.”

Headline: Nigeria’s Boko Haram crisis: Eid prayer blasts hit Damaturu
At least nine people have died in explosions at prayers for the Muslim festival of Eid in the Nigerian town of Damaturu, the army says. The two female suicide bombers included a 10-year-old girl, said Nigerian army spokesman Col Sani Usman. There were two blasts at a venue where volunteers were waiting to screen worshippers, he said. No group has said it carried the attack but Boko Haram has recently stepped up its campaign of violence. They have been forced out of most areas they had seized but have increased their attacks since President Muhammudu Buhari took office in May. Some 300 people have been killed this month. The explosions were at an open-air praying area, known as Eid grounds, which were set aside for Muslims to gather to pray at the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan. Because of the threat of a Boko Haram attack, worshippers were being searched before they reached the Eid grounds – this is where the explosions happened. Col Usman said four persons died in the first explosion and five died in the second explosion. “The first blast went off around 07:15 local time (06:15 GMT) while security volunteers who had come earlier than worshippers were waiting for the worshippers so they could assist in crowd control,” added eye witness Ahmad Adamu, a security volunteer. “While we were attending to the victims we heard another blast about 500 metres (547 yards) away,” he added. On Thursday, explosions targeting people shopping for Eid at a market in the north-eastern city of Gombe killed at least 49 people.

Headline: Yemen’s exiled government says Aden ‘liberated,’ Houthis expelled
Saudi-backed Yemeni fighters completed their offensive to retake the southern city of Aden from the Houthi militia on Friday, residents said, as fighting in one main district subsided. Their victory in the port city – backed up by training and heavy weapons delivered by an Arab military coalition – marks a turning point in almost four months of aerial bombing and civil war in which battle lines seldom changed but more than 3,500 people have been killed and a million displaced. Exiled president Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi praised the fighters and the Arab alliance, promising that the gains in Aden were the start of a drive to take back the country. “We will soon achieve a glorious victory in Yemen, our beloved country, in its entirety … the victory in Aden will be the key to saving our cause,” Hadi said in a televised speech.

Headline: Greek MPs pass bailout austerity laws
Headline: Greek banks to reopen Monday with restrictions
Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras survived a rebellion by a quarter of his governing Syriza party on Wednesday night, after the Greek parliament passed a series of austerity measures needed to access a third EU bailout. In a tense vote which followed a fractious debate, Greek MPs backed a raft of tax increases and spending cuts by a 229 to 64 majority in a vote which saw 39 Syriza MPs, including Tsipras’ outspoken former finance minister Yanis Varoufakis, oppose the planned bailout. The neo-fascist Golden Dawn was the only party to oppose the bailout, which was backed by the centre-right opposition New Democracy. The vote means that eurozone finance ministers will hold a conference call on Thursday (16 July) to discuss a €7 billion short-term financing plan using the European Financial Stability Mechanism that will be needed to keep Greece afloat while talks on a three year €86 billion loan package can be thrashed out over the summer. The European Central Bank will also hold a meeting of its governing council, possibly with a view to extending financial support to Greek banks, which have remained closed for the last ten days.

Headline: China Crash Is ‘Way Bigger Than Subprime’
Hedge fund manager Paul Singer said that China’s debt-fueled stock market crash may have larger implications than the U.S. subprime mortgage crisis, echoing warnings from fellow billionaire money managers Bill Ackman and Jeffrey Gundlach. “This is way bigger than subprime,” Singer, founder of hedge fund Elliott Management, said at the CNBC Institutional Investor Delivering Alpha Conference in New York in response to a question about China’s crash potentially affecting other markets. Singer said it may not be big enough to cause a global financial market conflagration. China’s stock market has dropped from a June 12 peak wiping out almost $4 trillion in value in less than a month after investors who borrowed to buy shares had to unwind trades. Markets tumbled even as President Xi Jinping’s government ramped up efforts to stem the rout, including preventing share sales of companies. The threat to markets from the country is a bigger concern to Ackman, who runs Pershing Square Capital Management, than Greece. “China is a bigger global threat by far,” Ackman said Wednesday at the conference. “The Chinese stock market is a fairly remarkable phenomenon and I think kind of a frightening one.”

As you are about to see, there are 24 nations that are currently facing a full-blown debt crisis, and there are 14 more that are rapidly heading toward one. Right now, the debt to GDP ratio for the entire planet is up to an all-time record high of 286 percent, and globally there is approximately 200 TRILLION dollars of debt on the books. That breaks down to about $28,000 of debt for every man, woman and child on the entire planet. And since close to half of the population of the world lives on less than 10 dollars a day, there is no way that all of this debt can ever be repaid. The only “solution” under our current system is to kick the can down the road for as long as we can until this colossal debt pyramid finally collapses in upon itself. As we are seeing in Greece, you can eventually accumulate so much debt that there is literally no way out. The other European nations are attempting to find a way to give Greece a third bailout, but that is like paying one credit card with another credit card because virtually everyone in Europe is absolutely drowning in debt. Even if some “permanent solution” could be crafted for Greece, that would only solve a very small fraction of the overall problem that we are facing. The nations of the world have never been in this much debt before, and it gets worse with each passing day. According to a new report from the Jubilee Debt Campaign, there are currently 24 countries in the world that are facing a full-blown debt crisis…

Pestilence & PlaguesLuke 21:11 & Revelation 6:8 “And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.” (Luke) “So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death (Thanatos in Greek meaning the death of the body whether natural or violent), and by the beasts of the earth” (Revelation)
Headline: Re-emergence of Ebola in Liberia remains a mystery
Six cases of Ebola have surfaced in Liberia in the two months since the nation was declared free of the deadly virus, raising fears the disease lingers in the human body in ways not fully understood. Three of those cases were in the past week, doubling the number of new infections since the virus re-emerged in late June, the World Health Organization (WHO) said Wednesday. The newest case occurred in a suburb of Monrovia, the capital city devastated at the peak of last fall’s epidemic by scores of new Ebola infections each week. This new patient was a nurse who died Sunday on arrival at an Ebola treatment clinic in Monrovia, according to the United Nations and the Liberian government. She had been caring for her son, who became infected with the disease in a remote village and fled to the capital. Government health officials are ramping up responses in Monrovia, tracking more than 140 people exposed to the virus, including 16 placed under quarantine.

Headline: EU urges Russia to halt Georgia ‘provocations’
Russia’s “annexation” of a small strip of land in Georgia has met with condemnation from the EU and the US. Russian troops, earlier this week, moved markers saying “state border” 450 metres deeper into Georgia from the South Ossetia demarcation line. The step means Russia controls a 1.6 km-long segment of the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline, which is owned by British firm BP. It puts Russian soldiers within a few metres of the E60 highway, which connects Tbilisi with the rest of the country. It also cuts off local Georgian farmers from 10 hectares of wheat fields and cattle pastures. The move was described to AFP by David Kereselidze, a Georgian foreign ministry spokesman, as “creeping annexation of Georgian territory [which] threatens peace and security in the entire region”. The EU, which deployed monitors in Georgia after the 2008 war, said Russia’s action is “provocative”. It urged Russia to “avoid … any action that is detrimental to ongoing efforts to stabilise the situation” and called on Georgia to show “restraint”. The US ambassador to Georgia, Richard Norland, said the land-grab is designed to “humiliate” Georgia’s pro-Western government.

Headline: Shootings at Chattanooga military facilities leave 4 Marines, gunman dead; act called ‘domestic terrorism’
Shootings at a pair of military facilities in Chattanooga, Tenn., Thursday, left five people dead, including four Marines and the lone gunman, officials said. The shooter was later identified by the FBI as 24-year-old Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez, and it was revealed late Thursday by SITE, a widely read website that tracks Islamic terrorism, that he maintained a blog where he wrote “Islamic-focused” posts that were entered as recently as three days ago. An FBI official told Yahoo News, “there is no reason to question the authenticity” of the blog with the pro-jihad entries. The official said it is actively investigating whether the shooter may have contacts with ISIS through social media, but currently has no evidence of that. In a July 13 post, Abdulazeez wrote that “life is short and bitter” and that Muslims should not let “the oppourtunity to submit to Allah…pass you by,” the website said in an email sent to subscribers.

Powerful Typhoon Nangka lashed Japan on Friday, killing at least two people and triggering floods as authorities urged more than 230,000 residents to evacuate. Packing gusts up to 126 kilometres (78 miles) per hour, Nangka barrelled over the nation’s main island of Honshu after making landfall near Cape Muroto on Shikoku island late Thursday. The storm was passing near Tottori prefecture in western Japan by Friday noon, moving north at 15 kilometres an hour towards the Sea of Japan, the Japan Meteorological Agency said. Nangka, Malaysian for jackfruit, paralysed traffic, grounding at least 94 domestic flights, as torrential rain and violent winds swept large areas of western Japan, officials said. Television footage showed muddy water overflowing Naka river in Tokushima flooding up to the second floor of nearby school buildings. The weather agency has issued warnings for floods, gale-force winds, landslides and high waves in southern Japan.

Headline: The Freakish Year in Broken Climate Records
The annual State of the Climate report is out, and it’s ugly. Record heat, record sea levels, more hot days and fewer cool nights, surging cyclones, unprecedented pollution, and rapidly diminishing glaciers. The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) issues a report each year compiling the latest data gathered by 413 scientists from around the world. It’s 288 pages, but we’ll save you some time. Here’s a review, in six charts, of some of the climate highlights from 2014.

Headline: Hundreds Protest “Apartheid on the Temple Mount”
Tuesday evening, Temple Mount Heritage Foundation founder and activist Rabbi Yehudah Glick led a demonstration at the Dung Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem protesting the recent closures of the Temple Mount to non-Muslims during the Ramadan holiday. The Temple Mount Heritage Foundation, along with several other groups and organizations working to increase access on the Temple Mount, decided to hold a peaceful demonstration to protest the most recent closure of the Temple Mount, which will be lifted when Ramadan ends on July 17. The decision was made following several incidents of Muslims harassing Jewish visitors to the Temple Mount. Ramadan is known as a time of increased violence across Israel, and this year was no exception. After several terrorist attacks across the country couples with a rise in unrest on the Temple Mount, including Muslims following, shouting at and threatening Jewish visitors, the police decided to shut down the source of the disturbance – Jewish prayer. Despite the peaceful nature of the rally, the Israeli police made several attempts to stop it from happening, first seeking to ban it entirely. However, attorneys for Temple Mount rights groups successfully appealed to the Israeli High Court, which ruled that the police could not stop the protesters from expressing themselves.

Headline: Netanyahu’s bid to lobby Congress to kill Iran deal will fail, Obama says
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s anticipated efforts to lobby Congress to derail the Iranian nuclear agreement will fail, US President Barack Obama told New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman on Tuesday. The president spoke to Friedman as part of his public relations campaign to rally support for the Iran agreement, which has been subject to scathing criticism from the Israeli government and its sympathizers in the United States. “Prime Minister Netanyahu would prefer, and many of the critics would prefer, that [Iran] doesn’t even have any nuclear capacity,” Obama told The New York Times. “But really, what that involves is eliminating the presence of knowledge inside of Iran.” “[P]erhaps [Netanyahu] thinks he can further influence the congressional debate, and I’m confident we’re going to be able to uphold this deal and implement it without Congress preventing that,” the president told Friedman.

Headline: NSA file reveals Israel behind 2008 assassination of Syrian general ***Before even reading this article, what are chances that this NSA report “just happened” to come out the day after the Iran nuke deal??
Israel’s elite naval commando unit Shayetet 13 was behind the assassination of Syrian General Muhammad Suleiman in 2008, The Intercept reports, citing classified NSA documents. According to the report, the American intelligence agency learned of the operation by monitoring communications signals of the Israel Defense Forces. The files are among those revealed by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden, The Intercept reports, and provide the first official confirmation that the IDF was behind Suleiman’s assassination. After shooting the Syrian general in the head and neck while he was hosting a dinner party at his seaside weekend home near Tartus, Syria, the report says, the Israeli naval commandos escaped via the sea. A top-secret entry in the NSA’s internal version of Wikipedia, called Intellipedia, says the assassination, is the “first known instance of Israel targeting a legitimate government official,” the report says.

Arab League chief Nabil al-Arabi said Wednesday a historic nuclear deal between Iran and world powers is a first step to ridding the Middle East of weapons of mass destruction. The head of the Cairo-based pan-Arab bloc expressed hopes the accord reached on Tuesday would usher in “stability and security” in the volatile region, according to AFP. Arabi also called on the international community to put pressure on Israel to declare that it has nuclear facilities. The nuclear deal struck between Iran and six world powers in Vienna was a “first step to free the Middle East from weapons of mass destruction,” he said in a statement. “It’s time for the international community… to stop its policy of double standards and to undertake its responsibilities by pressuring Israel to join the non-proliferation agreement as a non-nuclear state,” he added.

Headline: What Each of the US Jewish Organizations Are Saying About the Iran Deal
We know the Iran deal is bad. How bad it is is we all may be spending the rest of our lives finding out. That is, unless enough members of Congress are able to inject sufficient spine-strengthening and -straightening serum to override President Barack Obama’s already promised veto of any effort to derail the deal. So let’s take a stroll through the playground of American Jewish organizations and see what they have to say about the proposed deal which allows many of the things American leaders swore would not be permitted and forbids many of the things that were promised would be included. Most of the major Jewish organizations either blasted the agreement with Iran or punted, assuming a wait and see stance. However, one “pro-Israel, pro-peace” outfit was thrilled with the deal. More on that in the body of the article. Here they are, summaries of the statements on the Iran deal issued by American Jewish organizations. In alphabetical order.

Headline: Jordan defends Jerusalem Islamic names at UNESCO
The Cabinet on Tuesday reviewed the outcomes of the 39th session of the World Heritage Committee held in Bonn, Germany, between June 28 and July 8, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. During the UNESCO’s session, the committee adopted a draft resolution on Jerusalem proposed by Jordan, the custodian of the holy places in Jerusalem, and Palestine. UNESCO, under the decision, recognises the use of both Al Aqsa Mosque and and Al Haram Al Sharif as synonyms in all relevant literature. In a report submitted to the panel in March this year, both Jordan and Palestine slammed Israel for “attempts to befog the religious historic Muslim exclusive right and identification by forced use of un-Islamic names such as ‘The Temple Mount’ as part of the Judaisation policy enforced by the Israeli occupying power of the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem”. The draft resolution also considered Bab Al Magharbeh, a main gate of the holy city, as part of Al Aqsa Mosque, and endorsed the term Al Buraq Plaza, which the Israelis call Wailing Wall Plaza. Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour stressed the importance of the resolution and called for committing to using these terms when addressing other countries, Petra reported.

Headline: Syrian army, Hezbollah advance in city near Lebanese border
The Syrian army backed by Lebanese ally Hezbollah has advanced deeper into the besieged Syrian city of Zabadani two weeks into a campaign to capture it from insurgents, rebels and the army said. The control of the city, about 45 km (30 miles) northwest of the capital Damascus, is seen as crucial to consolidate government-held areas linking Lebanon and Syria. Zabadani is a former popular resort on the main Beirut-Damascus highway. Hezbollah militiamen and the army, aided by reinforcements, advanced closer to Zabadani’s center under cover of heavy artillery fire and intense aerial bombardments of insurgent hideouts, rebels and the army said. Footage released by the Syrian army showed troops in the heart of the southeastern district of Sultani, the focus of street fighting. Rebels said some 500 families were still inside Zabadani and had taken shelter but the city was mostly deserted. Its capture would be a strategic gain for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, whose army is battling on several other fronts with groups including non-jihadist rebels and hardline Islamic State militants. A victory over the rebels would also secure a corridor for Hezbollah to transport fighters and arms. The Shi’ite Muslim group’s military role inside Syria has been growing steadily since the start of the conflict in 2011. Rebels contacted by phone said although they had lost some ground in parts of the city in the last few days, they have so far repulsed advances deeper inside their stronghold.

Headline: Saudi media attack Iran deal as assault on Arab interests
President Barack Obama telephoned Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz on Tuesday from Air Force One to discuss the newly completed Iran nuclear agreement, the White House said. Saudi Arabia expressed hope Tuesday for an end to Iran’s regional “interference” after a historic nuclear deal aimed at ensuring Tehran does not obtain an atomic bomb was struck. “Given that Iran is a neighbor, Saudi Arabia hopes to build with her better relations in all areas on the basis of good neighborliness and non-interference in internal affairs,” said an official spokesman cited by the Saudi Press Agency. Both leaders also discussed the urgent need to stop the fighting in Yemen and ensure assistance for all Yemenis through international humanitarian channels. Obama also spoke with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan by telephone to discuss the nuclear agreement. Following the calls, it was revealed that the U.S. president is sending his defense chief next week to the Middle East to reassure reassuring allies that the nuclear deal will not undermine America’s commitment to their security. U.S. defense officials told Reuters that Defense Secretary Ash Carter would travel to Israel and elsewhere within the region but declined to offer details.

Syria Headline: Syrian Rebel Leader Killed in Double Suicide Bombing
A senior member of the Syrian Ahrar al-Sham rebel group was killed along with six other fighters on Tuesday in a double suicide bombing in northwestern Syria, a monitor said. No group claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said it was believed to have been carried out by a group linked to ISIS. The Britain-based monitor said seven members of Ahrar al-Sham, a conservative Islamist rebel group, were killed in the blast near the town of Salqin. Among them was Abu Abdel Rahman Salqin, described by Observatory chief Rami Abdel Rahman as “one of Ahrar al-Sham’s most senior leaders.” Ahrar al-Sham is one of the most powerful rebel groups in northern Syria and belongs to an alliance with Al Waeda affiliate Al Nusra Front that has seized most of Idlib province in recent months.

Syria Headline: 13 civilians killed in regime air raids
Thirteen civilians, among them seven children, were killed in aerial attacks by Syria’s government Wednesday on the northern province of Aleppo, a monitoring group said. “A woman and her three children, as well as another child, were killed when helicopters dropped a barrel bomb on the village of Taduf,” said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Taduf, which lies in the northeast of Syria’s Aleppo province, is controlled by Daesh. In the province’s west, “eight civilians, including three children, were killed when regime warplanes struck the village of Daret Izza,” held by Islamist fighters and other rebels. “Regime forces are continuing to kill civilians through aerial attacks, with barrel bombs or shells, indifferent to the international resolutions on this matter,” said Observatory head Rami Abdul Rahman. He said the attacks amounted to “war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by regime forces on a daily basis.” The regime has stepped up air attacks in Aleppo province in recent days, killing at least 57 civilians when it dropped “container bombs” on the Daesh-held town of Al Bab at the weekend.

A car bomb blast claimed by the Islamic State jihadist group killed at least five people in the Iraqi town of Khalis Tuesday, officials said. The blast, which the top provincial official in Khalis said occurred outside a reputed local doctor’s house, also left at least 11 wounded. ISIS said in a claim posted on jihadi forums that the explosion targeted members of Hashed al-Shaabi, an umbrella organization for mostly Shiite militias which has been playing a leading role in the anti-ISIS fightback. Khalis lies around 60 kilometers (35 miles) north of Baghdad in Diyala, a province which the government declared free of ISIS militants in January.

Headline: MIDDLE EAST SECURITY REPORT July 2015- ISIS’S GLOBAL STRATEGY: A WARGAME
The United States currently faces multiple national security threats in an environment of growing disorder. ISIS is executing a sophisticated global strategy that involves simultaneous efforts in Iraq and Syria, the Middle East and North Africa, and the wider world. Homegrown terrorism is increasing in the U.S. and Europe. Civil wars are intensifying in Ukraine, Yemen, and Libya, while the U.S. attempts to pivot to the Asia-Pacific. In this complex environment, it is difficult for policymakers to discern the consequences of action or inaction even in the near future. The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) conducted simulation exercises on February 27 and March 16, 2015 to discover the diplomatic and military opportunities and pitfalls likely to arise in the coming months of the counter-ISIS fight. Several developments that ISW predicted during the simulation have already occurred. Identifying these scenarios and opportunities in advance can enable the U.S. and its allies to make better-informed decisions in the long-term. ISW’s simulation focused on possible outcomes of ISIS’s regional activity. The anti-ISIS coalition is currently focused on ISIS only within Iraq and Syria. Therefore the U.S. is vulnerable to strategic surprise resulting from ISIS’s external activity. ISIS has the potential to pressure and divert allies that are critical to the U.S.-led coalition’s efforts, while continuing its own expansion program. Simulating the effects of ISIS’s endeavor in advance revealed insights that will assist in the creation of a coherent counter-ISIS strategy, rather than a piecemeal strategy formulated as crises occur.

Headline: NATO plans biggest exercise since 2002 to counter Islamic State
NATO and its allies will hold their biggest military exercise in more than a decade from October, deploying 36,000 personnel across the Mediterranean to counter the threat of Islamic State on the alliance’s southern flank. Briefly turning attention away from Russia, NATO commanders said on Wednesday the alliance would carry out some of its toughest training yet in a complex “artificial threat scenario” in which militants attack on land, from the air and at sea. “We cannot choose between the eastern threat and the southern threat, we have to train for both,” said General Hans-Lothar Domrose, commander of the NATO military command in Brunssum, the Netherlands, who is preparing the exercise. After more than a decade of NATO-led combat operations in Afghanistan, the U.S.-led military alliance is shifting to defend its territory. More than 30 countries – including non-NATO nations such as Sweden and Austria – will take part in the exercises in Italy, Spain, Portugal and in the Mediterranean from Oct. 3 to Nov. 6. Much of NATO’s focus has been on what it sees as an increasingly hostile Russia, but the rise of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria is a central concern. NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has warned the Arab Spring uprisings have ushered in a “brutal winter” of instability.

Headline: ‘ISIS will benefit’ from the Iran nuclear deal
The United States and other world powers struck a landmark deal with Iran over its nuclear program this week, and the agreement might benefit one group that the US hadn’t counted on — the Islamic State. Hassan Hassan, an associate fellow at the think tank Chatham House and co-author of the recent book “ISIS: Inside The Army of Terror,” told The Wall Street Journal that the nuclear deal could make already-disaffected Sunnis feel even more like the US and Iran are conspiring against them. “ISIS will benefit a lot from this deal; segments of the Sunni community in the region will see Iran as having won and brought in from the dark,” Hassan said. The Islamic State (also known as ISIS, ISIL, and Daesh), a Sunni terror group, already capitalises on Sunni grievances for recruitment and support. ISIS presents itself as the sole protector of Sunni populations in Iraq and Syria, where Shiite-aligned regimes dominate.

Headline: Turkey hopes for revived post-sanctions trade with Iran
Turkey hopes for improved trade with neighbor Iran following the lifting of international sanctions, a presidential spokesman said on Wednesday. “Iran is an important neighbor to us and an important trade partner,” Ibrahim Kalin told reporters in Ankara. “We hope that relief for the Iranian economy will lead to improved trade relations for Turkey and Iran.” According to Turkey’s Foreign Ministry, Turkey exports machinery, motor vehicles, iron and steel products to Iran while its crude oil and natural gas account for 90 percent of imports. Trade volume between the two countries stood at $10.7 billion in 2010. Under a nuclear deal reached on Tuesday between Iran and six world powers, economic sanctions are to be lifted in return for restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program. Kalin, a former senior advisor to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, described the agreement as an “important step” in removing the nuclear weapons from the Middle East. He added: “The realization of the agreement depends on the implementation of the provisions and the sustainability of the agreement depends on the will of the parties. We will be the supporter of this.”

The White House dispatched Vice President Joe Biden to Capitol Hill Wednesday to sell Democrats on the newly announced Iran nuclear deal, as several influential members voiced reservations about giving it their seal of approval in a vital vote this fall. Biden was meeting first with House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, though the tougher lift may be on the Senate side. In the aftermath of the deal announcement in Vienna, senior Democratic senators made clear they were withholding judgment. “We’re basically legitimizing Iran’s nuclear program,” Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., told Fox News, voicing concerns about what Tehran gets in return, including the likely lifting of an arms embargo and leverage over the timing of certain nuclear inspections. “At the end of the day, the challenge here is that 10 to 12 years from now, does Iran have a pathway towards a full industrial-sized nuclear program and the possibility of breaking out to a weapon? And if so, all you’ve done is delayed the question of Iran’s nuclear ambitions.”

New data shows that America’s war in Afghanistan is costing taxpayers roughly $4 million an hour, despite the Obama administration’s drawdown of troops leaving only 10,000 soldiers in the country. Despite the colossal cost, the Obama administration and Afghan leadership both recognize the war will only end with peace negotiations, according to observers. More than $700 billion has been spent on the Afghan war since the George W. Bush administration authorized the invasion in 2001, including more than $35 billion in fiscal year 2015, according to figures from the National Priorities Project, a non-profit, non-partisan federal budget research group.

Headline: Libyan army commander killed in Benghazi battle
Libya accused the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday of hampering its terrorism fight, while the U.N. envoy to Libya said the growing threat of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) could only be tackled once warring parties agree on a government of national unity. Libyan U.N. Ambassador Ibrahim Dabbashi complained that the Security Council Libya sanctions committee had not responded to its March request to import weapons, tanks, jets and helicopters to take on ISIS militants and monitor its borders. “The committee has indirectly contributed to continuing instability, as well as entrenching terrorism in Libya,” he told the council. “There is premeditated hampering of the efforts of the Libyan government to strengthen its capacity to combat terrorism and to extend its authority to all Libyan territory.”

Headline: Volunteer watchdog group dispatches to western states to monitor ‘Jade Helm’
A controversial U.S. military training exercise known as “Operation Jade Helm” rolls out this week across several southwestern states — but a group of wary citizen watchdogs will be keeping an eye on them. Pete Lanteri, a former Marine now living in Arizona, told FoxNews.com that volunteer members he’s helped organize will be on the ground as part of a newly formed surveillance campaign called “Counter Jade Helm.” A product of mounting suspicions across western states over the exercise itself, the group has been set up to locate, track and observe U.S. soldiers – Green Berets, Air Force Special Ops, Navy SEALs — training across the Southwest. The three-month military exercise kicks off Wednesday. Lanteri played down the notion that the “counter” campaign could lead to conflict. “We’re not paranoid tin-hat wearing freaks,” Lanteri told FoxNews.com. “We’re not going to be out there confronting people or holding signs.” Rather, Lanteri and his volunteers will be in plain clothes, in plain sight and armed with only cell phones and video cameras, he says. He plans to travel to central Texas over the weekend to help kick off the “Counter Jade Helm” project. He said California, Louisiana, New Mexico, Mississippi, Florida and Utah also are among the states participating in the counter-missions; there have been conflicting reports about which specific states Jade Helm will be in, though the operation appears to concentrate in the Southwest.

Headline: At least 30 dead in triple Islamist attack in NE Nigeria
Boko Haram insurgents raided a border town in Nigeria’s Borno state, and attacked another village in the same state, killing at least 12 people, a witness and military and vigilante sources said on Wednesday. The militants attacked Damasak, a few kilometers from the Niger border, at around 4:30 am local time (0330 GMT) on Tuesday, a military and a vigilante leader in Maiduguri said. Chadian troops backed by soldiers from Niger freed the town from Boko Haram earlier this year but the militants have attacked it several times since, the last time in late March. Nigerien and Nigerian security sources said that troops from the joint taskforce had recently withdrawn from the town. “They came in Hilux vehicles (pickup trucks) and motorcycles, set fire to all the houses but all the residents have fled the town since last weekend when troops from the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) were withdrawing to Niger,” said a Nigerian vigilante leader who declined to be named. Meanwhile, At least 30 people were killed in three attacks by Islamists in northeastern Nigeria, local officials and inhabitants said Wednesday. The three assaults were carried out simultaneously Tuesday. In the deadliest, over 20 were killed outside Ngamdu, a local legislator, Mohammad Sando, told AFP.

Pro-government fighters in south Yemen seized Aden’s airport on Tuesday as they launched a new offensive supported by Saudi-led warplanes and ships against Iran-backed militias, military sources said. The fighters from the Popular Resistance also pushed back the Houthi militias and their allies from areas within the war-torn port city, the sources said. Warships off the coast of Aden took part in the battle which a presidential official said was part of a new military campaign to regain control of all of the city. Exiled President Abedrabbu Mansour Hadi is “personally supervising the operation” dubbed “Operation Golden Arrow for the Liberation of Aden,” said his office director Mohammed Marem from Aden. Soldiers of the 39th Armored Brigade had captured Aden’s airport on March 25 after switching allegiance to the Houthi militias. The Houthi militias and their allies have since gone on to seize the presidential palace and other parts of Aden, the second largest city in Yemen and its main sea port.Retaking the airport of Aden is the first significant achievement for pro-Hadi fighters since the embattled president fled the port city late March due to an all-out rebel offensive.

Headline: Ukraine’s Poroshenko says ‘illegal groups’ must disarm after standoff
Headline: Right Sector activists arrested in connection with western Ukrainian shootout
President Petro Poroshenko ordered Ukraine’s security services and police on Monday to disarm “illegal groups”, saying they threatened to further destabilise a country fighting separatists in its east. Poroshenko said a weekend standoff between members of a far-right group and police in the western town of Mukacheve, close to the border with Hungary, Slovakia and Romania, was simply a turf war over smuggling routes. But he appeared to take aim at Right Sector, which played a prominent role in protests that toppled Moscow-backed President Viktor Yanukovich last year, saying no political force should operate armed cells in Ukraine and run “criminal cells”. The far-right nationalist group demanded the resignation of the interior minister at the weekend after two of its members were killed in a firefight with police in Mukacheve, where it said it was set upon by police. The Interior Ministry said the group shot first. Poroshenko said in a statement there needed to be a tough investigation into the events there and that the Interior Ministry, security services and other law enforcement officials must disarm “all illegal armed groups”. “No political force should have and will not have any kind of armed cells. No political organisation has the right to establish…criminal groups,” Poroshenko said. Poroshenko said last week the flow of arms from the conflict with pro-Russian separatists in the east increased the risk of serious crime in Ukraine, where corruption flourished under Yanukovich and where the authorities are under fire for not reforming the justice system quickly enough.

Headline: Greece misses new payment to IMF despite bailout deal
Headline: UK to block Greece short-term funding solution
Greece missed the second debt payment to the International Monetary Fund in two weeks, despite having reached agreement with official creditors on a new bailout program earlier in the day. Athens was supposed to remit about 456 million euros ($500 million) to the crisis lender by 2200 GMT, but it had not been expected to make the payment after missing a 1.5-billion-euro debt payment to the Fund on June 30. Greece’s arrears to the IMF now total about 2.0 billion euros, said spokesman Gerry Rice in a statement confirming the missed payment. When it first defaulted at the end of June, the IMF froze Greece’s access to its resources, including the Fund’s ongoing financing program for the country. Athens asked the IMF for a rare extension of the repayment period, which was not ruled on at the time. “The request by the Greek authorities for an extension of the repayment obligation due on June 30th is expected to be discussed by the Executive Board in the coming weeks,” said Rice.

Headline: Boy Scouts of America votes to end ban on gay adults
The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) has unanimously approved a resolution to end the organisation’s ban on gay adults working as leaders. The group’s national executive board will meet to ratify the resolution on 27 July, the Boy Scouts said in a statement. It is a major step towards ending a policy that has caused deep rifts in the group, which was set up in 1910. In 2013, the BSA ended a ban allowing openly gay boys to become scouts. Earlier this year, former US defence secretary Robert Gates, who is BSA president, told the group’s national meeting that the ban on gay adults needed to end, saying it was no longer sustainable. The selection of Mr Gates as president in 2014 was seen as an opportunity to revisit the policy since he helped end the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy that barred openly gay people from serving in the US military. The resolution, which was passed by the BSA’s 17-member executive committee on Friday, will become official policy if it is ratified by the 80-member executive board later this month. It will allow scout units to set their own policy on the issue and mean they can select adult leaders without regard to sexual orientation.

Hurricane Dolores is rapidly strengthening to a category 4 hurricane off Mexico’s Pacific coast, with maximum sustained winds increasing to near 130 mph (209 kph), the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Wednesday. The storm, now at the second-highest hurricane classification category, was about 320 miles south of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and moving west-northwest at 7 mph. Swells generated by Dolores are affecting portions of the coast of southwestern Mexico and the southern coast of the Baja California peninsula, the NHC said. These swells could cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions, it said.

Headline:Nuke Deal Fact Sheet from the State Department in April – to compare with the nuke deal today
There was a report released on July 6, 2015 by Christianity Today with this headline: “The Epidemic of Bible Illiteracy in Our Churches” When you read that report you will understand better what Jesus meant in Luke 18:8. I quote Jesus in verse 8. “I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? Why did Jesus say this? Matthew 24 37-38 helps us to understand what Jesus was saying in Noah’s generation were Godless people so it stands to reason that the people during Noah’s generation did not read the early writing from Moses and the Prophets that followed after Moses nor believe what their writings said if they did read it. Could people who call themselves Christian’s today end up like the people in Noah’s generation having no faith? Paul stated in Romans 10:17 the following: “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. If Christians never read the word of God how can faith grow and if faith doesn’t grow what happens? Timothy 4:3 has the answer. I quote, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears”. Can people who call themselves Christians and not follow sound doctrine end up like the lawlessness people of Noah’s generation? The answer is yes. Take a look at what Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-23. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” The Bible shows us the day is coming when the Lord will come back for the true believers in Christ but, many who call themselves Christians will be turned away. Who are the so called Christians that Jesus says “I never knew you”? Could they be the ones who really don’t follow Christ, never read His word, never fellowship, never pray, nor keep on the watch for His second coming as He commanded us to do? Only Jesus knows who these people are and by the looks of what I read from the stats in the Christianity Today report there will be many such people.
Stats from a new study from the Christianity Today reveal the same thing is happening to our generation that happened in Noah’s and Lot’s generation. I quote, “Christians claim to believe the Bible is God’s Word. We claim it’s God’s divinely inspired, inerrant message to us. Yet despite this, we aren’t reading it. A recent LifeWay Research study found only 45 percent of those who regularly attend church read the Bible more than once a week. Over 40 percent of the people attending read their Bible occasionally, maybe once or twice a month. Almost 1 in 5 churchgoers say they never read the Bible—essentially the same number who read it every day. Because we don’t read God’s Word, it follows that we don’t know it. To understand the effects, we can look to statistics of another Western country: the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom Bible Society surveyed British children and found many could not identify common Bible stories. When given a list of stories, almost 1 in 3 didn’t choose the Nativity as part of the Bible and over half (59 percent) didn’t know that Jonah being swallowed by the great fish is in the Bible.” “But it’s more than simply not knowing stories from Scripture. Our lack of biblical literacy has led to a lack of biblical doctrine. LifeWay Research found that while 67 percent of Americans believe heaven is a real place, 45 percent believe there are many ways to get there—including 1 in 5 evangelical Christians. More than half of evangelicals (59 percent) believe the Holy Spirit is a force and not a personal being—in contrast to the orthodox biblical teaching of the Trinity being three Persons in one God. As a whole, Americans, including many Christians, hold unbiblical views on hell, sin, salvation, Jesus, humanity, and the Bible itself.” (Christianity Today July 6, 2015). It’s no wonder our world is falling apart. As people leave sound doctrine faith begins to disappear and as faith disappears what replaces it? The answer is sound in what Jesus said, “‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness! (Matthew 7:23). We know that the lawlessness people will not enter God’s kingdom and, since Jesus in Luke 18:8 shows us there will be almost no faith when He returns we know there is going to be millions of people who think they are Christians who will be seen as the rest of the Lawless people who aren’t Christians. So in these last days it would be wise to examine one’s self to see if in fact you are really following Christ or are you as one of the Pharisees? I quote Matthew 23:27. “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but are within full of dead men’s bones and of all uncleanness”. There are many people who I call the pretenders of the faith. These people are just like the scribes and Pharisees who saw Jesus face to face. These people only appeared to be righteous but as you can see from what Jesus stated they were not. Again it would be wise to keep what Jesus said in Matthew 5:20 close to your heart. I quote, “I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.”
I am sure this type of message will not be preached from the pulpits in many churches but for those pastors who truly love Jesus they will be the ones who are not afraid to speak the truth. For many of you this message will not be received well however, I am not here to try and please you I am here to tell you the things Jesus has given us. You may believe what Jesus said or you may not that will depend on the true nature of your heart. If it is for Christ in its fullness you will receive what He said if not than you just may be as one of the scribes or Pharisees Jesus pointed to. I suggest you read the entire article.

A few days ago the Temple Mount Institute had revealed they were planning to make an important announcement. The date they gave for this important announcement was July 12, 2015. Well July 12, 2015 theTemple Mount Institute made their announcement. There were many web sites that tried to figure out what this announcement would be. I think the most asked question was, are the people at the Temple Mount Institute going to tell the world they are going to begin building the Third Temple? If they did, that would really be an important event as this is exactly what Jesus said would happen in the last days. However, the announcement rather had to do with a red heifer which the Jews need in order to complete their sacrificial services that will start up again as prophesied.
For those of you who don’t know the importance of seeing a pure red heifer being born let’s look at the red heifer first. According to Numbers 19:2, you must have a red heifer that has no imperfections. Otherwise, you could not use the heifer for temple sacrifices. By “Imperfections,” it means there cannot be any hairs on the heifer other than red. If one hair of another color is found on the heifer, the animal cannot be used in the sacrifices. The red heifer can not do any work either or that would disqualify it. Over the years the Temple Mount Institute has seen red heifers that look like they would meet all of the requirements but, for one reason or another these red heifers were disqualified.
Let me show you in red what I wrote in my book about two such red heifers that were disqualified.
Guess what? A pure red heifer has shown up! I quote, “One of the biblical conditions for the rebuilding of the Third Temple in Jerusalem may have perhaps been met recently when a red heifer was discovered in the United States. In January a red heifer, or Parah Adumah, was born to a cow herding family in an undisclosed location in the US, who wish to see the animal used for the purity service during the preparations for the rebuilding of the Third Temple. The family has reportedly not marred or maimed the animal in any way, nor will they be using the animal for work or feeding it any growth hormones. All this to comply with Jewish law of keeping the animal as nature created it. Rabbi Richman says that the people who own this animal and who are raising it are going to great pains to make sure that this red heifer will be useable for the ceremony. “She won’t be branded, tagged, or used for any work, the plan is to watch her, and take care of her, and The Temple Institute is very thankful to those raising her, as everything is being done with extreme sensitivity and respect to the requirements of the raising of the red heifer according to the Torah of Israel as described in Numbers 19, and expounded upon in Jewish tradition,” he stated. Richman explained why the appearance of this red heifer, as opposed to others over the years, is creating such a stir.” “We are all excited about this one and watching this one. For there is a tradition that there were nine perfect red heifers that were used throughout history, and that the 10th would usher in the messianic era, and the rebuilding of the Third Temple,” he added” (Israel News June 29, 2014). Since there is only a handful of prophecies left to be fulfilled, we expect to see one of these pure red heifer brought out by the people at the Temple Institute shortly. Very little information has been reported about the pure red heifer and for good reason. Just the thought of a pure red heifer upsets the Arabs. The Arabs know if a red heifer were to be exposed to Israel, the people of Israel would want to build their Third Temple right away. This one red heifer could be the cause of another Middle East war and possibly World War III.
The red heifer born in the United States.
On March 25, 2015 there was more news about another red heifer reported by THE DAILY NEWSPAPEROF TORAH JEWRY. A photo of this red heifer is below. “News of what appears to be a parah adumah, fully red cow, on a small farm just outside of Lakewood has been attracting increasing attention. Interest has been heightened by her rapidly approaching second birthday, at which point the cow would become permissible for this extremely rare halachic phenomenon. “Somebody from Brooklyn called and offered me one million dollars for her, but I told him that she’s not for sale. This is a gift from Hashem,” said owner Herbert Celler. “When he asked me what I’m going to do with her, I told him that I’m going to be the first in line when Moshiach comes.” A parah adumah, or red heifer, is necessary to produce the ash needed for the ritual purification process, essential to performing the service in the Beis Hamikdash.” Herbert Celler has stated he plans to give the red heifer to the Jewish people as a gift.
News broke just recently via Israel News that this red heifer in New Jersey was also disqualified for Temple Service. I quote, “The Red Heifer that was found in New Jersey in 2013 and made known only a few months ago was disqualified on Wednesday morning when it gave birth to a baby black calf. Pregnancy and and the subsequent birthing disqualifies the cow from ritual use according to the Jewish legal guidelines set out by Maimonides in the 12th century. This is the second cow in as many years to be disqualified from being a qualified as a red heifer.”
For those of us who believe in Jesus Christ the appearance of a true red heifer would be the step in seeing the Jews rebuild their Third Temple. This is one of the worse things that could ever happen. Why? Because what that would mean is the Antichrist will also appear shortly. We are told by Christ when the Temple is rebuilt this Antichrist would be going into the rebuilt Temple and claim to be the true Messiah however, after a period of 3 1/2 years the Antichrist would stop the Jewish sacrifices and at that point he would show the Jews and the world his true colors as the man of sin. Jesus warned us about this Antichrist in Daniel chapter 9. It will be at this 3 1/2 year mark that the Antichrist will start to fulfill the prophecy in Zechariah 13:8 where the Antichrist will kill 2/3 of all the Jews. If Jews don’t believe in Jesus hopefully they will believe in their prophets Daniel and Zechariah because the appearance of a red heifer may seem as a blessing to them but, it will be a curse as the real Messiah already was sacrificed from their sins almost 2,000 year ago. As for me I pray the appearance of the red heifer is far off because of my love for the Jews. I do not wish to see another man who will attempt to do what Hitler did during world war II. Hitler killed 7 million Jews but the Antichrist will wipe out two thirds of the Jews so, how in the world would the appearance of a red heifer be good news? The sad thing is, the religious men during Jesus’ time refused to believe Christ as the Son of God and, the true Messiah. Because the Jews during Jesus’ first coming did not accept Christ as the Messiah Paul the Apostle in Romans 11:25 tells us the following: “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.” It is for this reason that today most Jews still do not see the light that Jesus Christ was and still is Israel’s true Messiah. This my friends is in part why the Jews will in fact finally get to see a pure red heifer and rebuild their Third Temple! Jesus is allowing these things to take place so in the end the Jews will finally look upon Jesus as their one and true (Savior). The bottom line is this. The Jews will get their true red heifer which will begin the push to rebuild the Temple and no one can stop the appearance of the Antichrist after the red heifer is born. These prophecies have to occur if the second appearance of Jesus Christ is to come.
So, I ask you this question. Would you like to prolong this red heifer and the rebuilding of the Third Temple or, say to the Jews go for it and let us see the final prophecies come to pass so the Church and finally go home to be with our loving Lord? I will let each of you in your own heart answer this question. As for me, I will be praying for the delay in the hope that their will be more Jews in Israel who see Jesus Christ as the Messiah. Only Jesus knows when Israel will tell the world a pure red heifer is born. However, this I know, one is coming and so is Jesus!!!
Headline: Netanyahu Refuses to Expand Judea and Samaria
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu admitted that he has no plans to expand Judea and Samaria on Monday, and indeed plans to keep the de facto building freeze unofficially instituted over the past two years. During a meeting on the subject, the Mayor of Beit El, Shay Alon, interrupted Netanyahu and asked about the destruction of several buildings slated for Beit El in about two weeks. Netanyahu replied to Alon that the State must respect the High Court for Justice’s ruling on the subject in favor of the demolition. Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon also added his opinion to the discussion. “You knew full well that the Ulpana neighborhood was started as a network of illegally-built houses,” Ya’alon fired, adding the the current round of buildings slated for demolition were also started this way. “Despite all our good intentions, you know that we cannot legitimize this process.” Alon fired back at Netanyahu that the decision violates a campaign promise he made to build 300 housing units in the area. “You are worried about the interests of your settlement, I am concerned with the interests of the entire country,” Netanyahu replied. “There is international pressure, and we need to manage it wisely.” “The settlement movement is under attack by international powers,” Netanyahu added angrily. “I am protecting the movement as a whole, and we should do so with wisdom and respect for High Court decisions.” Netanyahu then said explicitly that he does not intend to keep the promise to build 300 homes in Ulpana.

Headline: Court Approves Protest Against Banning of Jews From Temple Mount
The High Court on Monday authorized a demonstration by groups protesting the banning of Jews from the Temple Mount. The demonstration is set to take place on Tuesday between 5:30 and 6:45 PM. Groups lobbying for the rights of Jews to pray on the Temple Mount called for a mass show of support against the ongoing harassment Jews face when they attempt to pray at the site. Police had sought to ban the protest altogether, and attorneys for the rights groups took their case directly to the High Court, which ruled that police could not prevent protesters from expressing themselves on the issue. With that, the court conceded that the protest could cause friction with Arabs – and thus restricted the time, as well as the location of the event. Originally, the protest had been set to take place outside the “Mercy Gate,” which had been traditionally been used by Jews to enter the site, but was closed off by the Muslim Waqf, which controls the Mount. The court authorized the protest only at the entrance to the Dung Gate, which is generally used by Jews to enter the area of the Kotel. The protest was also limited to 75 minutes, during a period when Muslims are generally not at prayer.

Headline: IDF Official: Hamas Approaching Pre-Protective Edge Rocket Arsenal
One year after Operation Protective Edge began, Hamas has nearly restored its pre-operation rocket capabilities, Ynet reported. According to an official with Israel’s Southern Command, the terrorist group which governs the Gaza Strip has almost as many short range rockets and mortar shells as it did before the confrontation began. During last summer’s 50-day conflict with Hamas, Israel set out to destroy Hamas’s arsenal of rockets, aimed at the Jewish State, as well as its network of terror tunnels under the Gaza-Israel border. According to IDF estimates, the army succeeded in obliterating over two-thirds of Hamas’s rockets and most of the tunnels. Hamas has spent the year, however, rebuilding its stockpile. “Hamas is getting closer to finishing restoring its stock of mortar shells and short-range rockets,” the official said. “They don’t yet have the amount of medium- and long-range rockets (that can reach Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and further north) [they once] had. Hamas will not give up the ability to fire rockets deep into Israel in the next war, because to them, a routine of sirens and emergency situation in Tel Aviv is an achievement.”

Headline: Hezbollah threatens Islamic State in Syria: Surrender or die
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah on Friday directly linked his group’s military campaign to the “Palestinian cause”, the Now Lebanon news website reported. In remarks in honor of the Iranian Quds Day, Nasrallah also claimed that all opponents of Iran oppose “Palestine” as well. “The road to Jerusalem passes through Qalamoun, Daraa, Hasakeh and other [Syrian battlefields],” he declared. Nasrallah’s comments come as Hezbollah fighters continue to engage in fierce fighting in the Syrian border town of Zabadani, where Hezbollah and Syrian regime troops have suffered mounting losses. The Hezbollah chief also trumpeted Iran’s role in the region, saying that the Islamic Republic was the only state that posed an existential threat to Israel. “After God, Iran is the only remaining hope to free Palestine,” Nasrallah declared, according to Now Lebanon, admitting that while his group poses a strategic threat to Israel, it could not destroy it. “If you are an enemy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, then you are an enemy of Palestine,” he stated.

Headline: ISIS claims Italian consulate car bomb in Cairo
A large explosion has severely damaged the Italian consulate in Egypt’s capital, Cairo. The health ministry says at least one person has died. Four people were also injured, medical sources said. The blast was caused by a car bomb, an official told the state-run news agency Mena. No group has yet said it carried out the attack. The consulate was closed and no civilian staff members are among the injured, an official told AP. The main entrance of the building was almost totally destroyed, windows were shattered and the building was flooded after water-pipes ruptured. Had it been a working day, the casualty numbers could have been much higher, says the BBC’s Sally Nabil in Cairo. The attack raises questions about the security forces’ ability to secure foreign diplomatic missions in the country, our correspondent adds.

Syria Headline: Syrian regime raids kill civilians in ISIS-held town
Syria’s regime killed at least 28 people, mostly civilians, on Saturday when its warplanes dropped massive makeshift bombs on a town held by the Islamic State group, a monitor said. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the bombs used in the attacks on Al-Bab, in the northern province of Aleppo, were three times more destructive than so-called barrel bombs, which have already drawn widespread international condemnation. “The army used ‘container bombs’ which are three times more powerful than ‘barrel bombs’,” said Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman. Among those killed in the bombardment were “19 civilians, including three children and three women,” said the Observatory, a Britain-based group that relies on a range of sources on the ground for its reports. The bodies of the nine other people killed in the attacks were too charred to be identified, said Abdel Rahman.

Syria Headline: Militants capture dozens of Syrian soldiers in Palmyra
On Sunday, sources in the city of Palmyra reported that Islamic State’s (IS/ISIS) militants captured more than 100 soldiers from the Syrian regime forces, including officers. This comes after fierce fighting broke out between IS militants and Syrian regime’s army in the sub-districts of Abu al-Fawares and Bayarat in Palmyra suburb, central Syria. “When IS militants pretended to withdraw from the area, the army moved forward towards Palmyra city. However, the terrorist group had planned an ambush for our forces in Abu al-Fawares sub-district, where more than 100 soldiers were taken hostages,” a source in the Syrian army told ARA News.

Syria Headline: How the Dominoes Will Fall After ISIS Takes Damascus ***I cannot tell if this piece is written as an OP-ED
For more than four years, the Assad regime in Syria has resisted its people’s cry to be freed from dictatorship. During the last several weeks, the Assad regime has shown signs of vulnerability punctuated by a weakened relationship with Iran. Iranian advisers who had supported Assad for years are now consumed with supporting the Iraqi government in its war against ISIS and the Houthis in Yemen in their war against a Saudi-led coalition of Arab nations. Iran’s economy has been damaged severely after a decade of international sanctions and Iran cannot support the Syrian regime financially forever. Hezbollah, the best trained force fighting for the regime, has lost about a thousand of its best fighters in Syria, the very fighters desperately needed to fight ISIS and al-Qaeda in Lebanon. For these reasons, Syrian government forces have suffered a series of defeats over the last weeks. The Assad regime now controls no more than 35 percent of the country, leaving the rest to ISIS, the Kurds and the other rebel groups like al-Nusra front. Allepo, Syria’s largest city is almost surrounded completely by the rebels. The Syrian Kurds have increased the territories they control in the north to include most of the border areas with Turkey. Assad is also the de facto mayor of Damascus and the coastal areas. If this trend continues, which is likely to happen, the Syrian regime will probably fall by the end of this year. The two competing forces to occupy Damascus are ISIS and al-Nusra front. If either of these two terrorist organizations capture Damascus, the world will witness an unprecedented chain reaction. It would be the first time that al-Qaeda or ISIS controlled a national capital. “ISIS’s strategic target is to control one of the historical capitals of the Islamic caliphates: Damascus, Baghdad or Samarra. These cities are very symbolic for its followers,” says Hisham al-Hashimi, an expert on ISIS and the author of the book, The World of ISIS.

Iraq Headline: ISIS Jihadists Attack Iraqi Forces in Anbar
Islamic State (ISIS) group fighters on Friday attacked Iraqi police and soldiers in an area considered a major staging ground for operations to reconquer Anbar province, security sources told AFP. ISIS fighters used suicide car bombs to attack government and allied forces in Khaldiyah, a town in the Euphrates valley that lies between Fallujah and Ramadi, Anbar’s two main cities. A police lieutenant colonel said ISIS fighters stormed the town’s Al-Madiq neighborhood “following clashes that forced army and federal police to abandon their positions.” “Local police and tribal fighters were left alone to fight Daesh in that area,” he said, using an Arabic acronym for the group that took over large parts of Iraq last year, establishing a “caliphate” in those areas. “After entering Al-Madiq, the organization deployed fighters with suicide vests in houses and streets,” the official said. A spokesperson for Anbar tribes fighting alongside the government said federal security forces were attempting to regain the initiative.

Iraq Headline: Baghdad car bombs and suicide attacks kill 35 – sources
Car bombs and suicide attacks targeting mainly Shi’ite Muslim districts of Baghdad killed 35 people on Sunday, one of the heaviest recent tolls in the Iraqi capital, which has faced a wave of bombings by Islamic State militants. The deadliest attack hit the northern Shaab neighborhood, where a car bomb followed by a suicide blast killed 19 people, security and medical sources said. The car exploded near a crowded market and, as police and bystanders gathered, an attacker detonated explosives strapped to his body. In Bunouk district in the capital’s northeast, a bomb in a car killed nine people, the sources said. Security forces were sweeping areas nearby, some with sniffer dogs, after receiving information about two further possible bombs, they said. More than 100 people were wounded in the three explosions. There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but Islamic State militants who control much of northern Iraq and the province of Anbar west of Baghdad regularly send bombers into the capital. Earlier on Sunday, a suicide bomber killed five people in Kadhimiya neighborhood, home to one of Shi’ite Islam’s holiest shrines, shortly before dusk and the end of the daily Ramadan fast. Another bomb in the Iskan district of western Baghdad killed two people, medical sources said.

Headline: US-Israeli-Egyptian mobile sensor-fence projects to block further ISIS Mid East expansion
US counter-terror experts are overseeing a lightning operation for setting up mobile sensor towers and electronic fences in Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan and Israel in a desperate bid to seal their borders off against the fast-moving impetus of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant – ISIS, or at least slow it down. This reign of terror is spreading out from Iraq and Syria and creeping into southern Jordan, the Israeli Negev, and Egyptian Sinai, then on to Libya and over to Tunisia and Algeria, covering a distance of 4,000 km. When President Abdel-Fatteh El-Sisi saw his army had not repelled the ISIS Sinai affiliate’s offensive in North Sinai as it went into its second week – controlling only the main highway from El Arish to Cairo via Bardawil Lake – he turned to Washington with an urgent request to ship over mobile surveillance sensor towers and American crews to operate them. His plan is to string them across the Sinai Peninsula and along Egypt’s borders with Libya and Sudan in a last-chance bid to block the constant influx of reinforcements and weapons to ISIS fighters reaching Sinai from Libya, through the Egyptian borde,r and from Iraq, through southern Jordan and the Israeli Negev. The State Department acceded to the Egyptian request and has submitted the application worth $100 million for congressional approval. The application states: “This procurement is intended for Egyptian Border Guard Forces, which currently lack any remote detection capability along unpatrolled areas of Egypt’s borders.” Libya, Sudan and Sinai are specified. The application goes on to explain: “The system would provide an early warning capability to allow for faster response times to mitigate threats to the border guards and the civilian population.”

Headline: ISIL poison threat, arrests near reservoir leaves thousands in Kosovo without water
Officials in Kosovo shut off the water supply in the capital Pristina after fears that Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) had poisoned a local reservoir. Tens of thousands of residents in Kosovo were without water early on July 11 “because of security issues” and officials said that five men were arrested in connection to the suspected plot, Reuters reported. Kosovan jihadists of ISIL recorded a propaganda video claiming they would target the country’s water supplies in imminent attacks. “If you can, take poison and put it in their meal or in their drink. Make them die, make them die of poisoning, kill them wherever you are…you can do it,” one terrorist says in the video. Kosovo police reported three men behaving suspiciously near the water at the Badovc reservoir, which supplies around 100,000 of Pristina’s residents. The reservoir supplies nearly half of Pristina, a city of more than 200,000 people. Two other suspects were later arrested. All five face terrorism charges.

Headline: Kurdish militants to attack dam sites and say Turkey violated ceasefire
Headline: Turkey vows to press on with constructions in Kurdish region
Kurdish militants will attack Turkey‘s dam construction sites in the mainly Kurdish south-east, the group said in a statement late on Saturday, another blow to a fragile peace process meant to end a three-decade insurgency. The Union of Kurdistan Communities (KCK), the Kurdish militants’ umbrella political group, on Saturday issued a statement saying that Turkey’s construction of military outposts, dams and roads for military purposes had violated the ceasefire. “The Turkish state took advantage of the ceasefire conditions not for a democratic political resolution but to gain an advantageous position in preparation of war by building dozens of guard posts, roads for military purposes and dams in order for a cultural genocide,” the statement said. The Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) launched a separatist armed struggle in 1984 before moderating its goal to improving the rights of Turkey’s roughly 12 million Kurds. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish president, who has boosted Kurdish cultural rights during more than a decade in power, began peace talks with Ocalan in 2012, risking nationalist wrath. “The Kurdish movement has decided to not to accept this treatment any more, and to mobilise all means necessary, including the guerrilla forces, to stop the construction of all dams,” it said.

Headline: Putin Calls for Removal of Sanctions on Iran
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday called for the sanctions on Iran to be lifted as soon as possible after a deal is reached on Tehran’s nuclear program, Reuters reported. Iran and six major powers, including Russia, are discussing a deal that would curb Tehran’s nuclear program in exchange for relief from sanctions. Putin’s comments came soon after the talks, which have already been extended several times and were to end Friday, were extended yet again – this time through the weekend. Speaking at a news conference in the Russian city of Ufa, the president that there was a question over which sanctions should be lifted and when, but went on to say they should be ended as soon as possible. “We are calling for the comprehensive lifting of them as soon as possible,” Putin said, according to Reuters. Iran has also been restricted from selling oil as part of the sanctions. Putin said Iran would probably increase its oil production once the curbs are lifted.

Headline: Iran Fines U.S. Administration $50 Billion
Iran’s top leaders remain ambivalent about whether or not to sign the comprehensive nuclear accord with the six world powers in Vienna as 22 agonizing months of negotiation falter on the brink. The all-powerful supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s latest comment was far from helpful. Saturday, July 11, he said publicly: “The US is the true embodiment of global arrogance,” the fight against which “could not be interrupted” even after the completion of the nuclear talks. He also boasted that the Islamic Republic had “managed to charm the world” by sticking with those negotiations. debkafile’s Iranian sources report that Khamenei’s remarks reflect the struggle between the pro- and anti-nuclear deal factions at the highest level of the Iranian leadership. For now, President Barack Obama’s odds of less than 50 percent on a final accord may well describe the balance in Tehran. On June 29, President Hassan Rouhani was planning to resign when he asked the supreme leader to receive him first. He was upset by Foreign Minister Mohamed Zavad Zarif’s recall from Vienna to Tehran for a tough briefing. Zarif had warned the president that the talks were doomed unless Iran gave some slack. The foreign minister said that the six foreign ministers were preparing to leave Vienna in protest against Iran’s intransigence. Rouhani when he met Khamenei warned him that Iran was about to miss the main diplomatic train to its main destination: the lifting of sanctions to save the economy from certain ruin.

No one has claimed the attack, which also inflicted major damage on the school building. The attack came hours after the Afghan government claimed it had dealt a huge blow to the Taliban in fresh battles with the militant group across the country. A statement by Afghanistan’s Defense Ministry said 216 Taliban militants have been killed and 142 others have been injured during a “large-scale” operation which started two days ago. The official statement said 12 Afghan National Army troops also lost their lives during the operation in landmine explosions and exchange of fire with the militants.

A suicide car bomb has killed at least 33 people, mostly women and children, near a military base in Afghanistan, officials say. The bomber detonated explosives at a checkpoint near Camp Chapman, formerly used by the CIA, in eastern Khost province on Sunday. Camp Chapman was the site of one of the worst attacks on the agency in 2009 when a bomber killed seven officials. No US or coalition soldiers were killed in this latest attack. The base now houses both Afghan and foreign troops, including US soldiers. A statement from Khost’s provincial governor said that 27 civilians and six security personnel were killed. Youqib Khan, the deputy police chief, told the Associated Press news agency that Sunday’s blast hit a checkpoint manned by members of an Afghan unit that guards Camp Chapman. Officials said those killed were civilians in cars waiting to clear the checkpoint at the time of the blast.

Militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) acknowledged losing control of the city of Derna in eastern Libya and promised to “avenge” its fighters, according to Agence France Presse. In a video recording posted on Twitter, a man in military uniform promised to avenge ISIS fighters who died in the fighting. Senior Middle East analyst Michael Nayebi-Oskoui at U.S.-based global intelligence firm Stratfor said the loss of Derna does not greatly change ISIS’s effectiveness in Libya. “ISIS being kicked out of Derna does not dramatically alter the capabilities or effectiveness of the IS in Libya, as the group has faced and will continue to face stiff opposition from local competitors,” he said. “ISIS remains constrained in its ability to retaliate for any potential loss in Derna.” “That said, attacks (including suicide attacks) against security checkpoints in and around Sirte, Benghazi and Tripoli are all possible,” Nayebi-Oskoui added.

Tunisia’s status as a “non-NATO ally” of the United States has been approved, the U.S. State Department said, paving the way for enhanced military cooperation between the countries. Washington hailed the partnership between the United States and Tunisia after the Major Non-NATO Ally (MNNA) status was confirmed Friday. “MNNA status sends a strong signal of our support for Tunisia’s decision to join the world’s democracies,” State Department spokesman John Kirby said in a statement. He added the “status is a symbol of our close relationship.” In May, U.S. President Barack Obama declared Tunisia a non-NATO ally while hosting his Tunisian counterpart Beji Caid Essebsi at the White House. The United States is hoping to strengthen Essebsi, who in December became the first democratically elected leader in Tunisia’s 60-year history.

Headline: Greece heads to negotiating table seeking third bailout
The Greek parliament on Saturday (11 July) backed the government’s proposed package of austerity measures to obtain a third bailout sending a positive signal to a key meeting of euro finance ministers later today. The motion – which would allow the government to use proposals as basis for negotiations with its creditors – was passed by 251 votes in favour, 32 against and 8 abstentions. Prime minister Alexis Tsipras said the vote gives him a “strong mandate” to continue negotiations in Brussels. However it came at a heavy political price for the government. The energy minister and the parliament speaker voted against the proposals which run contrary to the spirit of a government that was elected on the back of a promise to end austerity in January. “The priority now is to have a positive outcome to the negotiations,” Tsipras said after the vote. “Everything else in its own time.” The cross-party support in Athens comes as Reuters reported EU sources saying the country’s creditors – the European Commission, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund – believe their Greek reform proposals are positive. On Monday, the head of the European Commission said the risk of Greece leaving the eurozone had been averted. Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said that after a “tough battle”, Greece had secured debt restructuring and a “growth package”. The bailout is conditional on Greece passing agreed reforms by Wednesday. These include measures to streamline pensions, raise tax revenue and liberalise the labour market. An EU statement spoke of up to €86bn (£61bn) of financing for Greece over three years. Though it included an offer to reschedule Greek debt repayments “if necessary”, there was no provision for the reduction in Greek debt – or so-called “haircut” – that the Greek government had sought.

Headline: South Korea Fires Warning Shots at DMZ
South Korean troops fired warning shots at North Korean soldiers who intruded on the buffer zone marking their heavily armed border, Seoul said Sunday, in the first such skirmish this year. The incident occurred Saturday morning when 10 North Korean soldiers crossed the border of the demilitarized zone separating the two Koreas, which remain technically at war, the South’s defense ministry said. But the brief intrusion near Cheorwon, northeast of Seoul, triggered no exchange of fire as North Korean soldiers retreated without firing back, it said. The demilitarized zone, or DMZ, despite its name, is one of the world’s most heavily militarized frontiers, bristling with watchtowers and landmines. There have been a series of minor skirmishes, involving exchanges of fire, along the inter-Korean land and sea borders in recent years. But this is the first time in 2015 South Korean soldiers have fired warning shots at North Korean troops for intruding in the DMZ, a ministry official told AFP. Cross-border tensions have flared at regular intervals this year, with North Korea conducting a series of ballistic missile tests in anger at annual US-South Korean military exercises.

Apostasy & Alternative LifestylesAmos 8:11, 1 Timothy 4:1-3 & Romans1:26-27 “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.” (1 Timothy) “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the Lord.” (Amos) “For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due”(Romans)
Headline:Democrats Introduce Bill to Ban ‘Husband’ and ‘Wife’ as ‘Anti-Gay’ Words
Fresh off the Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage, Democrats in California have introduced a bill that would ban the words “husband” and “wife” from being used in federal law because they are “gendered terms” and discriminate against gay people. The words husband and wife were deleted from California state law last year in order to accommodate same sex marriage. Under new legislation proposed by over two dozen Democrats, that same rule would be applied federally. The bill, introduced by Rep. Lois Capps, D-Calif, would introduce new “gender-neutral” terms such as “spouse” or “married couple.” “The Amend the Code for Marriage Equality Act recognizes that the words in our laws have meaning and can continue to reflect prejudice and discrimination even when rendered null by our highest courts,” Capps said. “Our values as a country are reflected in our laws. I authored this bill because it is imperative that our federal code reflect the equality of all marriages.” Capps said that amending the language used was necessary to reflect “the equality of all marriages” following last month’s Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage that mandated all states to license same sex marriages. “Now that compulsory gay marriage is the law of the land thanks to the U.S. Supreme Court, liberals are reaching out from that decision to see where else they can force the gay lobby’s agenda on the country,” writes Warner Todd Huston.

Headline: Pentagon Expected to Lift Transgender Ban
Pentagon leaders are finalizing plans aimed at lifting the ban on transgender individuals in the military, with the goal of formally ending one of the last gender- or sexuality-based barriers to military service, senior U.S. officials told The Associated Press. An announcement is expected this week, and the services would have six months to assess the impact of the change and work out the details, the officials said Monday. Military chiefs wanted time to methodically work through the legal, medical and administrative issues and develop training to ease any transition, and senior leaders believed six months would be sufficient. During that time, transgender individuals would still not be able to join the military, but any decisions to force out those already serving would be referred to the Pentagon’s acting undersecretary for personnel, the officials said. One senior official said the goal was to avoid forcing any transgender service members to leave during that time. Several officials familiar with the planning spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk about the issue publicly before the final details have been worked out.

Increase in DrugsRevelation 9:21 “And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.”
In Revelation 9:21 we see Jesus speaking to us about drug’s. The words “sorceries” in Revelation 9:21 is the Greek word pharmakia from which comes our word “pharmacy”. It signifies the use of medicine, drugs, spells, such as those used in witchcraft and those used today by those who are seeking a greater “high”. This generation was to be labeled a drug generation and we are.
Headline: Passengers can now carry marijuana on Oregon flights
Passengers traveling on flights within Oregon will be allowed to transport a small amount of weed, after the state’s recreational marijuana law went into effect July 1. According to Fox 12 Oregon, people flying through Portland International Airport, Oregon’s biggest airport, won’t be dragged from the line and hauled away if security officials spot pot. The Transportation Security Administration said its primary focus was to “detect threats to aviation security,” not stop adult marijuana users who obey the state’s 1 ounce marijuana limit, the International Business Times reported. If a passenger is found carrying pot, security agents will alert airport police, who will investigate whether the traveler is of legal age to possess the marijuana and that they are not flying out of state. Passengers traveling out of state will have to leave pot behind because transporting it to another place is still a federal offense.

Headline: Massive Volcano Strands Tourists in Indonesia
Five airports have been closed in Indonesia amid a week-long eruption of the volcanic Mount Raung in East Java, which has caused 250 flights to be cancelled and left thousands of vacationers stranded. “I can’t say at this time how many passengers have been affected,” said Farid Indra Nugraha, a spokesman for airport operator Angkasa Pura 1, according to Al Jazeera. The country’s Garuda Indonesia airline cancelled all its flights, with the airport closures also affecting the popular tourist islands of Bali and Lombok. “Bali is our second largest hub and this will also affect our international connecting flights,” said Garuda Indonesia airline spokesperson Ikhsan Rosan. Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world, but Bali is an enclave of Hinduism in the country. It attracts millions of foreign tourists each year, and the volcano cancellations come amid peak holiday season. “It’s pretty chaotic,” Katie Nagar, an American expatriate living in Indonesia, told AFP.
