A Lot Of People Think That The Midterm Election Results Mean That The War With Iran Is Over, But The World Will Be Shocked By The Death And Destruction That Are Ahead
The war with Iran is not over. There isn’t going to be peace in the Middle East. In fact, the most apocalyptic chapters of the Great Middle East War are still ahead of us. If President Trump decides to bomb the living daylights out of Iran before January 3rd, 2027, there is very little that the Democrats can do to stop that from happening.

11 Facts About The Midterm Election Results That Show That America Is In Far More Trouble Than Most People Realize
It’s clear much of the population was frustrated with the Republican Party. But instead of seeking another alternative, voters chose to hand the keys to the political party that made a mess of things when they were in charge earlier. The four years of the Biden administration were absolutely horrific.

The strongest passage to start with is Zechariah 12:2–3. Written thousands of years ago, it describes Jerusalem becoming a focal point of international conflict and attention among the nations.
Let’s look at the biblical evidence alongside documented events.
1. The Bible specifically says Jerusalem will become a concern for all nations
Zechariah 12:2–3 (KJV)
“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about…”
“And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people…”
Notice the language: Jerusalem becomes a source of international trouble. The surrounding peoples are involved. The prophecy speaks of all nations being concerned with Jerusalem.
This is remarkable because Jerusalem is a relatively small city, yet its political, religious, and international significance is enormous.
The United Nations provides documented evidence of Jerusalem’s international importance
This is where we can move from biblical interpretation to actual historical documentation.
Consider these documented developments:
1947: The United Nations proposed an international status for Jerusalem under its partition plan, Resolution 181.
Question of Palestine
1967: The Six-Day War resulted in Israel taking control of East Jerusalem. Its status has remained internationally disputed. Question of Palestine
September 2026: The UN’s annual report discussed Jerusalem’s status, religious sites, political future, and international involvement.
July 18, 2026: The UN and Organization of Islamic Cooperation held a special international conference devoted entirely to Jerusalem. Its title was Jerusalem: The Frontline of Displacement and Annexation and the Key to Just and Lasting Peace. Question of Palestine+1
Think about that: an international conference specifically devoted to the future of one city.
That is concrete evidence of Jerusalem’s international significance.
Jerusalem is a source of international disagreement
Jerusalem is sacred to three major religions: Judaism — the Temple Mount and Western Wall. Christianity — the city where Jesus was crucified and resurrected. Islam — Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.
The religious significance of these locations means that disputes over access, worship, sovereignty, and administration attract international attention.
In March 2026, UN human rights experts raised concerns about restrictions on worship and changes to Jerusalem’s religious and demographic character. Those statements are the experts’ assessments, not neutral proof of every allegation.
Middle East Monitor
This is an example of how events in Jerusalem can become matters of international diplomacy and religious concern.
Another prophecy: The nations gathering around Jerusalem
Zechariah 12:3 “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”
Notice three things: Jerusalem is singled out. The prophecy describes involvement by the nations. Jerusalem becomes an international point of contention.
Compare that with the international diplomacy, UN conferences, disputes over sovereignty, and religious tensions we see today.
Zechariah 14:2 also describes nations gathering against Jerusalem.
These passages are particularly important in biblical prophecy studies.
Is this proof that we are living in the last days?
Here is how I would distinguish the evidence:
| Observation | What we can establish |
|---|---|
| Jerusalem is internationally disputed | Documented fact |
| The UN has repeatedly addressed Jerusalem | Documented fact |
| Jerusalem is central to Jewish, Christian, and Muslim faith | Documented fact |
| Zechariah describes Jerusalem as a focal point among nations | Biblical text |
While it is a fact that no one can give you the exact day or hour of the Lord’s return, Jesus did give us a time frame of when his return would happen. I quote 1 Thessalonians 5: 1 Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.” Are we hearing the call for peace and safety? You bet we are! Not only that but, just about every birth pain sign Jesus told us to watch for in Matthrew 24 is taking place right now! What did Jesus tell us when we saw all these things? I quote Luke 21: 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
On my site almost daily I show you the signs of the last days Jesus commanded us to watch for. I do this in the hope that the Holy Spirit will show you, you need to receive Christ Jesus a your Lord and Savior today. I have been blessed by Christ to lead people to His salvation and I hope today these blessing would continue as you come to Christ today!!!
